VIDEO-GAME SCAVENGER HUNT - SUMMER EDITION

It's time for a video-game scavenger hunt! If you're not familiar with the concept, you just need to search for an image of what I specify and locate it within a video-game. How you locate what I specify affects the amount of points you receive.

Providing Images
  • If your video-game image is one you found online, you will receive 2 points.
  • If your video-game image is one you provide yourself, you will receive 3 points. To prove the image is yours, your photo must have something Universal Gaming related displayed within it, i.e. holding a piece of paper with UG's name on it, having your monitor in shot with UG open in your browser, etc.
  • At times there may also be bonus points available for certain images. These will be specified alongside the term of what we want you to locate.
  • Providing an image for a term after the next one has been listed will result in earning less points for being slow. Tongue
  • If you provide an image you used in the previous Summer Video-Game Scavenger Hunt, you will earn less points.
As always, you can ask me any questions you have on things you may not understand or be wondering about. ^_^

Now with that out of the way, here is the first thing I want you to find an image of:

Dolphin
I have beaten everyone to this particular one. EDIT: Oh, no wonder it's only been live for 4 minutes. XD

Here's my image for dolphins:

@PM: This isn't a case of first person to post gets it. Everyone submits an image, it's just that if someone gets a game before you then you need to find another game. Tongue

You have to post a screenshot of a game containing the requested thing for it to count. Giving me a name isn't enough even though I know that game is about a dolphin. Tongue

It time to one up all of you!

I present to you the true dolphin king of all video games!

One of the most memorable scene in all of sonic games you may say, "YURI THAT A WHALE!"

...there where you'd be wrong. Wink

The killer whale or orca is in fact a dolphin

1) you lose because you broke the international convention of Gamers decree of 2009 to never speak of Sonic 06 Tongue

2) Your own source said the following:
Quote:The killer whale or orca (Orcinus orca) is a toothed whale

3) If we are to wiki Dolphin we get the following:
Quote:Dolphins are a widely distributed and diverse group of aquatic mammals. They are an informal grouping within the order Cetacea, excluding whales and porpoises,

Out side of point 1 I actually don't care and just doing it out of spite because I am reminded of Sonic 06 Whistle Tongue
But that was Sonic adventures not Sonic 06 and if you read more into the wikipedia article.

"The killer whale or orca (Orcinus orca) is a toothed whale belonging to the oceanic dolphin family..."

If we click on the oceanic dolphin category we get the following:

"Oceanic dolphins or Delphinidae are a widely distributed family of dolphins that live in the sea. Thirty extant species are described. They include several big species whose common names contain "whale" rather than "dolphin", such as the killer whale and the pilot whales." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oceanic_dolphin

I refuse to let my point be taken from me due to misinformation! Tongue

1) doesn't matter damage has been done, and with such a low res is confuse-ble to Sonic 06 due to similar layout/scenery/camera angle. I need to go back to therapy now to forget the creepy ass headhoge-human relationship implied in the game. Whistle

2) That is where you are wrong, that specifies Oceanic Dolphin, where as the search calls for Dolphin where is where I Got my definition of dolphin from.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolphin
The second sentence excludes whales (which are included under Oceanic dolphins . Whistle

First sentence for Orca/Killer Whale is "...are toothed whales..."

Toothed Whales leads to:
"The toothed whales (systematic name Odontoceti) are a parvorder of cetaceans that includes dolphins, porpoises, and all other whales possessing teeth,"

Which leads me to Zoologists have no idea what they are talking about as it just seems like circular logic at this point "its a whale! No its a Dolphin! No its a whale!"

Which leads me to the one true dolphin:

as I said before I dont actually care, I just needed entertainment Whistle
