I just played about with this and it seems it isn't a character limit, but actually the use of symbols such as ' stopping it. I noticed that the developer of the plugin has a newer build than the one I was using, so I've updated the plugin which should fix this problem. I didn't notice it before because it's listed as a Beta build, so it isn't the default option presented for download.

Note: I'm aware the collapse/expand image for it has gone a bit weird. I'll look into that.

Ok, that's good to know. It's just interesting to see how the spoiler works from one forum software (zetaboards) to another (mybb) is all.
