I have PSVR and while all VR is in its infancy I think it will remain viable as a complimentary way of playing, especially going forward with improvements.

Gaming is and has been about immersion for a long time. It’s about escaping into your own fantasy and VR does that! Imo WipEout VR is the best VR game to date for PSVR.
Honestly the only VR I want to try is 1) https://store.steampowered.com/app/38194..._Tatooine/ and then the XWing VR for the Play Station...although TBH I'd rather have a XWing Simulation Pod Tongue
I sort of hope that VR just turns into something that you pay to experiance at local roller coster parks, & that it becomes just a niche experiance tbh.
I think VR is pretty cool! I haven't really played it much, but I did play one of the arcade type games my brother got.. and there's a bow and arrow mission, that was really fun!

I think it will take time to really keep it's ground, otherwise it could become another Ouya situation.
I recently got the Aim controller with Farpoint and it’s awesome! You pull the gun to your face to scope. No buttons. You move around to dodge projectiles and it’s really pretty cool. When you are behind cover you can physically lean out to peak or blind fire by holding the controller out.
VR can be done right and has the potential to be amazing.

But I firmly believe that's still ways away.

(Hilarious, but I found a couple of PSVR kits on a flea market the other day) xD

I wouldn't want that just because it's asking for an eye infection unless they're willing to clean it between uses.

Same.
VR's never been my thing. Something as a one off on a day out perhaps, but not something I'll be wanting to buy as a means to play games. Sure I can agree it has potential, but I really don't want to rely on a headset for my gaming experience. Don't know how well PSVR and other such VR brands are doing.

The only Virtual Reality I'll be interested in is one where it takes you out of consciousness, almost or as a dream like state. Something similar to Red Dwarf's Back To Reality episode. Doubt that'll be possible though. XD

Or Sword Art Online.

I actually can kinda see EL kicking butt on SAO. There's a martial arts skill and he is a fighting game addict Tongue

Oh, those PS4VR sets I thought I saw the other day turned out to be weird, gimmicky things and not actual VR sets.

Uh... what? They don’t make anything like that for PS4 unless there’s some weird third party thing I’m not aware of. The PSVR set for PS4 is full on VR and while not as high resolution as PC sets it uses full pixels and has the least screen door effect of all the headsets also uses better lenses.

I don't know man, just some weird googles. Definitely third party.

I wonder if it was an unofficial Augmented Reality thing.
