Well damn, all the stuff I find on it is in not-english (also stores no support it looks like?) and looks to be an Argentina only brand? Plus I get a bunch of other hits like network switches, and a bunch of other stuff that has the model CX911.

Not really, all available information refers to it as CX911, both internally and within the papers it came with.

..great. That tells me its some cheap PoS from china that isn't suppose to last any amount of time. So the fact that you were able to fix it, is surprising to say the lease.

It has really nice specs, though (far better than the one I bought for myself even).
