So I just wanted to make a topic to say I actually did make a minecraft server on one of those minecraft host-y server thingys and it free for anyone on UG to come and play should have very little problem:

If it isn't, I'd strongly suggest you put a whitelist on that server. It only takes one guest to see that URL and decide to be malicious. Eric hosted a server years ago and didn't even publicly advertise the link and it got raided by someone.

I'll have to look into that for now unless we are really worried about the tiny spawned island to be ruined we won't be losing much. XD

Yeah, I went on the server a little moment ago and there really isn't much. I just mined all the coal I could find in the one small cave we have and lit everywhere up so that nothing can spawn on the land.

It ran fine for me.
And yeah I saw your sign. XD I ended up dying because we have no food sources on the island and I just kept taking small hits here and there until a drowned shot me with a trident from the ocean while I was lighting up the island.

Moony here what I call a pro gamer move go into the ocean and hit them fishes! They think they are so cute swimming around!
And they are absolutely correct! But they needed to be eaten and cooked! Show no mercy to thy trout's or cods!

I actually forgot fish swim in the oceans now. I haven't played survival since before the aquatic update because I've been building stuff in creative. XD

I've never played hardcore in Minecraft. I only play on Hard difficulty usually.

I'd say only do that if we're both on starting fresh at the same time otherwise I think a lot of the fun of that in multiplayer would be removed.
