Bethesda @ E3 2018 - ShiraNoMai - Jun 11th, 2018

Here is all the news from Bethesda's E3 2018 Live Stream and any of their other announcements during E3, plus their entire live stream video if you would prefer to watch it instead of read about it. If we missed anything, please let us know and we'll add the information as soon as possible.

Rage 2 | Gameplay Trailer
Rage 2 kicked off the Bethesda's E3 Showcase with a brand-new, high-action gameplay feature to show off even more of the wild wasteland, introduced with a live performance by Andrew W.K.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends | Trailer
The Elder Scrolls: Legends will be re-launching this year with improvements, and is also coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Progress made on the mobile versions of the game will be carried over to the relaunched versions on consoles if you have a Bethesda.net account.

The Elder Scrolls Online | Trailer
Two new expansions, Wolfhunter and Murkmire, are coming to The Elder Scrolls Online. Wolfhunter will arrive first and be a new dungeon DLC based around werewolves. Murkmire arrives later this year, and will be a story DLC set in the Blackmarsh region, offering a deeper dive into Argonian culture and lore.

Doom Eternal | Discussion Thread
A sequel to 2016's Doom was announced, featuring twice as many demons as before. More details will be coming at QuakeCon, but you can see the trailer and discuss all things Doom over in our official discussion thread for the series!

Quake Champions | Trailer
Bethesda is allowing everyone to play Quake Champions for free until June 17th, when the game officially releases. You can download the game by visiting the Quake website.

Prey | Mooncrash Trailer
Prey is getting a range of DLC content, some of which is available as of today. The first DLC, Mooncrash, will feature an infinitely replayable rogue-like mode. Players will fight to escape a TranStar moon base, with the enemy encounters, loot to acquire, and challenges to face being different every time. It will cost $19.99 as standalone, or you can get it as part of the Prey: Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the base game and Mooncrash DLC.

If you're not looking to pay for some Prey DLC, there is also a free update available for the game now which offers three different modes: Story Mode, for those looking to casually experience the game’s immersive narrative; Survival Mode, which will put your veteran cosmonaut to the test with hardcore hazards like oxygen levels and bleeding; and New Game +, which gives all players a whole new reason to return to Prey after they complete the game.

Later this summer, a multi-player update called Typhon Hunter will be released. In Typhon Hunter, one survivor will be pitted against five other players who are shape-shifting Mimic aliens. The update, which will include VR modes, will be free for those who own the Mooncrash DLC.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood | Trailer
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is getting a co-op sequel called Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Taking place in 1980, 19 years after BJ Blazkowicz ignited the second American Revolution, players will be introduced to BJ's twin daughters Jess and Soph, as they search for their missing father in Nazi-occupied Paris. The game will be released in 2019.

Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot
A new Wolfenstein VR experience is coming called Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot. In it, you'll play a hacker who can take over nazi robots and turn them against their creators.

Skyrim: Very Special Edition | Trailer
It may have looked like a parody, but the Amazon Alexa Skyrim: Very Special Edition is actually a real thing and is available now. Skyrim Very Special Edition allows you to "take your rightful place as the Dragonborn of legend (again) and explore Skyrim using the power of your voice...your Thu'um!", as well as guarding your knees against arrows, walking straight up a mountain instead of going around, failing to collect all stones of Barenziah for like the 5th time, and...wait for it...open wooden doors.

Fallout 76 | E3 Trailer | Gameplay Trailer | Base Building Trailer | Reclamation Day Gameplay | Nuclear Trailer | Power Armour Edition Trailer | Infographic Montage
Bethesda had a lot to show for the recently announced Fallout 76. The game will take place entirely online, with every person and character being another player. You can play the game solo without other players if you prefer, but it will be easier to play the game with a team, and dying against other players will not result in a loss of progression or your character.

You can also build wherever you want in the world using the Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform - or C.A.M.P. - as well as move your structures wherever you want to take them. However, your structures won't always be safe. Any attack could cause damage, including the new nuclear annihilation feature. As demonstrated by its trailer, there will be nuclear missile sites in the world that can be activated and used to target an area of the map, but you'll need to have the nuclear access code to launch the missile. After it lands, you can go and explore the newly created nuclear sites for valuable resources, but obviously you're going to need a very radiation resistant suit to survive the fallout.

Fallout 76 will have a Deluxe Edition, and a Collector's Edition that includes a map that "glows in the fucking dark", 24 Fallout figures you can put onto the map, a wearable T-51b Power Armour helmet, and a bonus in-game item.

Fallout 76 will be released on November 14th, 2018, with a beta coming prior to release for anyone who pre-orders the game.

Fallout Shelter
As of today, you can now play Fallout Shelter on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

The Elder Scrolls Blades | Trailer
A new mobile game is coming to The Elder Scrolls series with Blades. Described as "a massive first person RPG with console quality graphics, but with a uniquely mobile experience", the game will feature hand crafted and procedurally generated dungeons, as well as leveling and character customization.

There will be three modes included: Abyss, an endless roguelike mode; Arena, a PvP mode against other players; and Town, the main mode where you will pick up quests and rebuild a city of your own with a full story. You will even be able to visit other player's towns, and can play cross platform with people on any platform.

Starfield | Trailer
For the first time in 25 years, Bethesda is developing a wholly original franchise called Starfield for next-generation systems. Not much was given, but it will be a third open-world pillar alongside Fallout and The Elder Scrolls.

The Elder Scrolls VI | Trailer
After years of releasing different versions of Skyrim, we can finally look forward to the next chapter with The Elder Scrolls VI. However, it is likely some way off, as Todd Howard said this is the game in development for after their next game, which is Starfield.

Fallout 76 Online only: (Seems Bethesda didn't learn from SimCity 2013

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - Relic - Jun 11th, 2018

Bethesda knocked it out of the park.

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - Karo - Jun 11th, 2018

Now this is a show I can get into. Finally a new Elder Scrolls game!

No more fucking Dovahkin! Here have the trailer for it and bask in the glory of this announcement and slowly fall in love with it:

As for Fallout76 I'm not sure if its an MMO or not? Is it just an online multiplayer Fallout?  Hmm I'm honestly not that interested bcasue I like Fallout in concept, but in actual gameplay I don't really get that into it?

Starfield looks interesting I wonder if it going to be a traditional bethseda RPG? Will it just be space battles or will it be like Mass Effect?

The rest not really interested in.

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - Dragon Lord - Jun 11th, 2018

I can't wait to see that Bethesda didn't learn anything with Skyrim's release and just release a 20% finished game filled with game breaking bugs and glitches and expect their PC community to finish the game for them. Whistle

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - Relic - Jun 11th, 2018

Obviously this is extremely early and more assuming on my part, but just from that small bit in the trailer it appears to be in High Rock.

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - Karo - Jun 11th, 2018

I bet they won't like honestly I don't think they ever released a game that was glitch tested before it came out.

Also I just saw the special edition of Skyrim....and I'm like WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!?

Skyrim: Alexa edition finally I can play D&D all by myself!

And Fallout 3 and Fallout "One choice" 4.

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - queenzelda - Jun 11th, 2018

Tbh Starfield is the only thing that interested me out of the entire briefing. Whistle

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - lp0 on fire - Jun 11th, 2018

The Starfield is barely a teaser, it gave me nothing.

At lease Doom shows Doomguy still wanting to RIP AND TEAR.

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - queenzelda - Jun 11th, 2018

I think it was the Metroid-ish music that gave me the hype. Tongue

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - lp0 on fire - Jun 11th, 2018

I have another reservation about FO 76, the "theme song", its a cover of a Johnny Denver song from 71, First the Fallout "theme songs" have never been a cover. Second In the Fallout Universe is suppose to be based on Americana of the 40s-60s. Along with the IIRC the 40s-60s are when the FO universe starts to fork from our universe.

This one minor detail shows little respect for the cannon of the FO universe. It may single even worse changes to the FO universe.

Kind of like how the New Star Wars trilogy has no respect for the canon and themes of the OT and PT.

They seemed to address that during their conference by saying Fallout 76 is getting a beta purely for that reason.

The conference overall was pretty neat; definitely the most fun one so far. Doom Eternal didn't surprise me but I am happy it's coming. Fallout 76 looks interesting, but I worry how well the servers will hold up at launch and how things like mods will be handled.

Very excited for the new Prey content, since I really enjoyed that game and had been seeing teasers of the Mooncrash DLC a while ago. New Game+ is neat although only useful for those not doing runs that require only one Neuromod type for trophies.

Rage 2 would've probably been a big opener if not for Wal-Mart leaking it early.

RE: Bethesda @ E3 2018 - Mr EliteL - Jun 11th, 2018

Only watched parts of it, and glad I didn't stay up in the early hours. I wasn't going to anyway. For me this was an incredibly boring briefing, only slightly better than EA's, but I didn't even watch that. Other than Doom Eternal, but even that was short lived. And maybe Elder Scrolls VI. This was basically Elder Scrolls this, Fallout that, and became tedious as I skimmed through. Heck, why was the 1 hour and over at the start even included for the video? Yeesh. XD

Bethesda and no game breaking bugs (for their RPG games)
