Wayne June, Narrator for Darkest Dungeon, Has Passed Away
Oof, this one was unexpected to see and made me feel a little sad. His voice adds so much to Darkest Dungeon and I can't imagine the game without him. I don't know how old he was but I don't have the impression he was old.
As life ebbs, terrible vistas of emptiness reveal themselves.

This was quite sad. I do hope his family finds peace with his passing. I'm happy he left such an amazing mark on the world. What a legacy.

It's surprising to see a death reported in the news nowadays where no age nor cause of death is known or shared. Unless an obituary gets posted somewhere I have a feeling we'll never know the circumstances of his passing.

Victor Antonov, Art Lead for Half Life 2 and Dishonored, Has Passed Away at 52
Half-Life 2 art director and Dishonored designer Viktor Antonov has died aged just 52. The news was shared by Marc Laidlaw, a former writer for Valve:

I wouldn't have probably posted this but it seems to have got a ton of attention on social media so I guess he was well known to a lot of people even if I haven't heard of him before myself. I've played and/or seen most of the games he's been part of, but I'm going to refrain from commenting on them in relation to his work/talent only because I don't know what was specifically his in all of those games and I'd like to try and give thoughts on what was his work in some form of specifics.
To pass at 52 is sad though; I get the feeling it's something sudden rather than an illness or something.

David Steven Cohen, Writer of Courage the Cowardly Dog, Has Passed Away at 58
David Steven Cohen, the head writer of Courage the Cowardly Dog, has passed away at the age of 58, according to reports from animation historian Jerry Beck. Beck shared on Facebook that Cohen’s cause of death was cancer.

Aww, you should consider checking it out some time if you can. It was like the slapstick of Scooby Doo but if every monster was actually real and poses a very real risk of actually killing Courage's owners if he doesn't do something.

Pope Francis Has Died Aged 88
Pope Francis, the first Latin American leader of the Roman Catholic Church, has died aged 88.
The Vatican confirmed the pontiff died at 07:35 local time on Monday; he was recently discharged from hospital after weeks of treatment for an infection.

I won't lie for some reason I thought this guy was already dead. I saw an image on social media tagged "The Pope died a day after meeting JD Vance" and wondered when that was because I couldn't remember the guy passing away; turns out I couldn't remember because it hadn't happened before today.

I only "knew" from I think a random news item I came across ages ago, and promptly forgot all about it very likely 5 minutes after until realising it may have been the same thing he had by your post, and not how I found out, all I needed to know is he passed away.

Former ECW World Champion Sabu Has Passed Away
For anyone who knows wrestling at all and/or was a fan of ECW back in its time, former ECW World Champion Sabu, real name Terry Brunk, has passed away at the age of 60.
Sabu had just worked his final match over WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, defeating Joey Janela. He appeared last weekend at the Tri-State Wrestling Alliance reunion show convention at the 2300 (ECW) Arena, which appears to have been his final public appearance.
Apparently he took a nasty bump on concrete during that match against Joey Janela, which people are hoping wasn't a contributing factor to his passing, given how sudden it was considering his recent public appearance. I never watched ECW and only know of Sabu because he was part of ECW One Night Stand which was organized by WWE and is the main reason I watched that event at the time.
