RE: Puzzmo (Mini Games) - ShiraNoMai - Aug 6th, 2024 I wonder what your scores will be now that you know you get double score for getting four corner hands in PUP Puzzmo #296 (August 6, 2024): FlipArt: Time: 15s Score: 3,071 Rotations: 13 Perfect: ✔️ 15s is a new record for perfect for me, I think. Crossword: Plonks: 7 Time: 17m40s Score: 2,359 Hints: 0 I spent a good 6 minutes idling so time isn't entirely accurate, but still, pretty solid puzzle today. I gimped myself by wrongly guessing 6D as "ROYALTY FREE" instead of "NOVELTY SONG" so I got hard stuck with some adjacent words not making sense. Typeshift: Time: 2m40s Score: 2,489 Hints: 0 Words found: 7 All core words: ✔️ Well, I got all the core words. Of course, it wasn't just all core words because words like PASES and PRASE exist for some reason. TrioShift: Time: 3m59s Score: 1,987 Hints: 0 Words found: 22 This week's bonus game is a variation of the TypeShift puzzle, with the variation being there are only three letters to shift (to make three letter words). I long gave up doing core words only, and thought "oh, maybe there's a scoreboard for most words found" so I started to rack up words. Nope. Rip effort. Pile-Up Poker (Best Hand): Total hands: 8 Quality hands: 4 Time: 3m43s Score: $6,275 I almost had a really good winning total in my fourth hand but I risked it on getting a card in the last round that I never got. Man, I really really adore the chess games on Puzzmo. They've actually overtaken Pile-Up Poker as my favorite mini-game on the site. |
