Also, just to clarify something that I might have unintentionally made unclear, my response to the South America question was under the pretense of any location South of the United States, because I overlooked that North America can include locations that are not part of the USA and that sometimes those same areas can be put under Central America, which at the time of my response to the aforementioned question I mentally classed as also being South America.

That's known as Latin America. South America explicitly refers to the landmass south of Panama.
