Also, there will be a Genshin Impact Art Exhibition in Paris, France from September 13th-25th 2025. A Collaboration with Secret Lab to bring a Liyue Collection of Titan Evo chair (Ningguang and Xiao themed) and Magnus Pro desk. Plus this teaser (also above in main video): An alright update. One thing is good that the summer event can be permanant, but the limited time rewards are stupidly limited as it used to be a full patch for the event to get the rewards, but less time now for the limited, I mean really? Hopefully those rewards won't take the full map/activities to do and they stop like perhaps 3/4 of the way at worst, so the rest can be completed whenever you want to warrant it being permanent. I'm behind on the Archon Quest as I haven't done the main 5.7 one yet, but I did like the somewhat tranquil teaser at the end. RE: Genshin Impact | 5.8 Special Program - Moonface - Aug 6th, 2025 Genshin Impact | Removal and Discontinuation of Updates on PS4 Starting next month, HoYoVerse will begin a three-phase plan for the removal and discontinuation of Genshin Impact on PS4: Phase 1 - Game Removal | September 10, 2025 Genshin Impact will be removed from the PlayStation Store, and anyone who has never downloaded the game on PS4 will be unable to do so after this date. PSN accounts that have downloaded the game at any point on PS4 will still be able to re-download the game if it has been deleted from the device. Phase 2 - In-Game Purchases Delisting | February 25, 2026 All in-game purchases for Genshin Impact on PS4 will be removed from both the PlayStation Store and the in-game shop. Before Genshin Impact's update discontinuation on PS4, any items purchased from the PlayStation Store but not yet claimed in-game can still be obtained by logging into Genshin Impact on PS4. Phase 3 - End of Update Support | April 8, 2026 All updates for the PS4 version of Genshin Impact will cease, and players will no longer be able to log in and/or play the game on this platform. Any items purchased from the PlayStation Store but not yet claimed in-game can only be claimed by logging into Genshin Impact on PS5 after this date. RE: Genshin Impact | PS4 Discontinuation Plans - Mr EliteL - Aug 8th, 2025 Not too surprising really, PS4 was slower and I've got no clue how it's been performing since I stopped playing Genshin on my PS4, last time was three years ago. I know my not so great laptop I first started playing my second playthrough on has been performing gradually worse almost every time I've updated it on there, I've pretty much put it down to the lowest settings now, just FPS I didn't put down to 30. Yes I still update the game there as I keep a log on a site which records wishes, and do so on my gaming laptop too so I have a spare record in case one screws up somehow. The PS4 I'd imagine would be better than my Acer laptop, it was only marginally better back when I was using both PS4 and the Acer, PS5, phone and gaming laptop are far superior. I can at least uninstall Genshin from my PS4 now when I ever turn my PS4 back on for whatever reason. Hopefully most players have already switched over or are going to if they're still playing, and have until April to do so. Genshin Impact x Miliastra Wonderland, is on it's way soon! Miliastra Wonderland is a new game mode separate from the main Genshin Impact game, though still a part of, and will be a user-generated game. Using the Miliastra Sandbox anything can be made available to play from PvP, Adventure, management sim, puzzles, party games, with the Genshin Impact style gameplay. Nod-Krai looks great, somewhat dark and the first of a big face-off against the Fatui which may end up taking the majority of this version until whatever comes next. I'm very interested in getting Flins for one of my accounts, likely my EU PC as it's the weakest of my three, and probably will be in contention with both him and Ineffa there, as I have potential with at least one more team that could be considered on par, though I need at least 3 to carry me through Stygian Onslaught. My other two accounts have definite 2 teams I can use, my main (PS5) does have more but those haven't been able to help clear Stygian. However the big elephant in the room is that quite awful stipulation in order to level up to 100, after having the max be 90 for so long. Really now, C6, only for big spenders who try for most if not all character 5-Star constellations. Me? The account I have since near the beginning of Genshin's life on my PS5 has only one standard character C6, one C5 and another C4. I'm unlikely to get Keqing again as she's up against 7 other characters, a bunch of weapons or a limited character that's not on a guarantee, unless I choose her from the selector and only then I get 1 character to Level 95, and need 2 more for 100. I have at least 20 5-stars I use often there so I'd need 60 of the darn things for level 100. My other two on PC, no standards are C6. I do have one C6 on my NA but I won't pull for her again as it's literally a waste of the pulls that could go towards a character I'd want, instead of fishing for 3 more copies without guarantee, screw that. Hope they don't end up making content that's for Level 100 characters, but I suppose like Stygian Onslaught mode already has two difficulty levels beyond what I'm capable of (I almost cleared one of them the first time), the rewards like them won't matter as much. Also about the new out of the blue user-generated game mode, I'm not excited for it really. There was a taste of it in one event a long while ago having you set up a challenge for other players to complete, I didn't get into that. RE: Genshin Impact | Luna I (6.0) Special Program - Dragon Lord - Aug 30th, 2025 Hoyo had so much good to show off, and then they were like, "Hey guys, watch us throw it all out the window and piss our entire fan base off" with that Level 100 nonsense. Increasing level cap isn't new to gacha games, but Hoyo is the first company I have ever seen lock the level cap increase behind having to whale even more. I mean, at least on the very slim bright side, I've pulled so many dupes of Diluc and Mona past C6 that they'll both be automatically level 100 for me (and still both pretty useless, rip). I'm kind of torn on the character selector. I figured I'd take Mizuki since she's new and I don't have her yet, and even though she's pretty damn bad, it would still shore up my collection a bit. Though if I take Jean instead, who I believe I have at C4 right now, then take her free constellation in the selector for that, I could get her to C6. She's kind of niche at this point, but still has a couple of uses here and there. I like that they continue to increase the ways for us to use Resin faster. I'm a bit interested in the change to Condensed though, because right now we can just straight up use Fragile Resin in our inventory to claim x3 rewards already (and since I have 400+ of the damn things, it's really convenient). Oh well, more ways to burn through Resin faster and take less time farming is going to always be a good thing. I can't wait to be bodied by all of the Nod Krai content because I don't have a character that can do Lunar Charged (and let's face it, free Aino wouldn't change much because as a C0 4* she's going to suck). Lots of good and some big bad in this update. Hoyo kind of playing with fire here considering the big hitters coming out in the near-ish future (Neverness to Everness, Arknights: Endfield, etc.). RE: Genshin Impact | Luna I (6.0) Special Program - Mr EliteL - Sep 3rd, 2025 I had to re-watch yet again about the Masterless Stella Fortuna, just to confirm if they are universal for any character or not. I skipped this part initially too, but the English VAs who were in the stream did confirm they can be used for any 5-Star, though I've not seen 4-star but I assume they can be used for them as well. Aether was also used as an example and we know we can't pull or get anymore copies of Aether/Lumine's Element Constellations past C6, so if they were individual they'd have to add 21 more in each Element for them otherwise. Well, 18 as they don't have Cryo yet. I was going to go for Mizuki as well as I've not lost 50/50 to her yet across my 3 accounts. Dehya I've somehow lost to more than the rest other than Keqing, she's the one I have at C5, then Qiqi C4. Diluc surprisingly only C1. Yeesh, 400+ Fragile Resin. I have 30-something on my PS5, 92 on my EU PC, down to 10 for my NA. I used so much this year because of how much garbage the artifacts have given me, also using a lot of Mora too. The use of Fragile Resin in domains has helped not needing to condense resin, though I still do anyway out of habit, or if I'm just playing briefly do get daily rewards done quickly. Hopefully the new games give Hoyo another kick up the arse again, or rather the GI side, like Wuwa did. Where is that skip button, Zenless Zone Zero has it, albeit doesn't skip everything though like unvoiced dialogue, and that's a part of Hoyo? Would do wonders for my two PCs, I have Fontaine to go through, and Sumeru/Fontaine for my NA. System Optimizations (wasn't any noted) Miliastra Wonderland Info
Very interested in the Archon Quest. As we will be fighting Rerir in actual gameplay this time, he apparently still won't be a weekly boss but I thought it would be too early for that. He's either going to be the next Weekly or after kinda like how we fought Raiden briefly but didn't get her puppet boss until after Signora who was the Weekly boss from the main Archon Quest of Inazuma. I kinda want him to get away though as he's still gathering his power, I even doubt he'll reach 100% here, perhaps 50% at most from the amount of characters going up against him for this quest, unless they make us defeat him before then. Then what, get buddy-buddy with him after he's unable to fight? Ugh, hope not. Miliastra...I'm so not into it, but will probably try it out anyway, but don't intend to stick with it. Doubt the Manekin is going to be any good as an actual playable character, perhaps something like Dendro Traveler or worse. |
