So, remember how I pledged for Sword World? Yeah, I modified it. I was unable to resist the urge; I am, in fact, getting the hardcovers. So now my pledge is 437 smackers. That'll be 109.25 per month for the next four months when the campaign ends. Ow.

In worse news, I lost one of my players in my campaign! He lives in Denmark, so the time slot for him is 3 AM? Yeah, you can see why he dropped out. Good news is one of our players managed to find a replacement player on short notice. He's not playing the character that's leaving (no one would have asked him to in the first place), and the leaving player has given me carte blanche to do whatever I need to do with his character. I haven't worked out a way to work him out of the story, yet, so I still have him there as an NPC. What's sad about this character is that this was my Devilpacted character! He was my easy way of working in Morgan! I'm so sad about this! Ah well, I'll work something out. I mean, I have to.

Ah man that's not great that player had to leave. How were they able to get involved before with that time difference?

They were at the sessions before this, but they already have a constitution score of 6, so they tend to get sick very easily, and trying to adjust their sleep schedule to make sure they made it to the game just was not working, so they finally bent the knee. Like I said, I don't blame them; the only person who I expect unreasonable things from to make this work is me. It sucks, but if they can't do it, I'm not about to push them on it.

Ah understandable then, they were feeling poorly a lot and need to prioritize taking care of themselves. May the new player fill that empty spot well.

Happy Halloween all, even if you don't bother taking part. People setting off fireworks yesterday and tonight where I am, fortunately not doing so after 10pm though. I visited Moony's family, who were doing fine, had their decorations up, and had another two guests over as well.

At work we still had a lot of pumpkins left, I have to deal with that in the morning, yay.
