Watching someone attempt a pacifist/no kill run for the original MGS3 before the launch of Delta. They've failed 48 times so far, and are currently approaching end game territory. I played the game myself in tranq/pacify-only, mostly because my friend suggested I did, though I think I had a few kills when trying to subdue sometimes, so it wasn't a true pacificist run.

Good run so far though, seems likely he'll finish tonight provided the combat leading up to The Boss isn't marred with potential deaths lol

@ShiraNoMai: I remember when I was playing through MGS3 that I was going for a pacifist run because there was a trophy attached to doing so. Assuming nobody had died without my knowledge I got to just beyond the fight with The Pain before I ended up just dropping the game because of how time consuming it was. x.x

Personally I find it most entertaining when people try to do a pacifist run in games not remotely designed for it, such as this one attempting it in Yoshi's Island.

Jurassic World: Rebirth

Originally didn't intend to watch this, but my sister suggested it to go with my Dad too so I did. Was OK I guess, preferred Thunderbolts to this really. Some parts of it were just ugh, especially towards the end.

Also notably, Hungrybox's video of him watching RapMonster, a Melee Luigi player doing well in a recent tournament. I did notice this player a while back from another video, and was wondering if he'd make another good showing and he has, hopefully seeing another resurgence for a character in Melee again. I know DK has had some good traction too, though I haven't been strictly following Melee tournaments either.

Again, been watching a YouTube called NGPlus try and solo 100% Crash Bash's Co-Op Mode (2nd player does nothing), good way to relive that game. Don't think I realised in Dot Dash the AI could start a race with a lap less once passing the finish line to start. Also I don't remember the minigame with hammering mushrooms. I don't think I did 100% the game, don't have my PS1 memory card (lost it) to make sure.

Beat the Chasers.

Was quite a successful episode... there was an older woman who won £30,000 on it! Nobody won the absolute top prize (which is usually in the £50,000-£100,000 range, depending on how many questions the contestant got right in the first round) - but, they usually save those episodes for last in the series Tongue .

A number of things, Insym and ManlyBadassHero (separately) playing No I'm Not a Human, Insym playing Waterpark Simulator.

Then many videos from Let's Game It Out, where the owner of the channel tends to play simulator games who makes the worst experience possible for the game's citizens that game can offer.

Been watching a lot of Fat Electrician's videos (both on his main channel and his "Fat Files" channel). Dude does a ton of videos on War Heroes (mostly World War I - Vietnam wars, but also has done a few videos going as far back as the Revolutionary War) and it's awesome learning more about these badasses you never got to learn about in school. After watching these videos, I can safely say that I am absolutely nothing compared to these guys. Like there was one guy who literally had his right hand tore off while attempting to blow up three German machine gun nests in World War 2, and all he did was casually take the grenade out of his disconnected right hand, threw it in the last nest with his left hand, and then crawled back to where the rest of the US troops were at (all while having been shot in the stomach during this as well).

Like I cannot imagine having my right hand tore off and not sitting there absolutely in complete shock and panic. But this guy was just like, "...Well shit, that happened. Oh well, I still have another hand I can use."

Currently watching the final of the British Open (snooker), between Shaun Murphy and Anthony McGill.

There's quite a contrast between them: Murphy is one of the game's veterans, who won the World Championship in 2005, and has been a mainstay of the top 16 since then - whereas McGill is a younger player, who's suffered a couple of poor seasons but is now undergoing something of a resurgence in form.

As of right now, Murphy leads 8-7 (first to 10 wins), so they're both still very much in it!

I was really hoping that he actually just threw his severed hand with the grenade in it just to imagine the confusion the enemy would have if they saw the hand land into the nest but didn't realize it has a grenade in it because of thinking it was just a severed hand that landed in their nest from a blast or something. Plus the guy could add to his chad status by telling his comrades he decided to give the enemy a hand. Cool

Ignoring any Twitch streams I've had on the past couple of days, the last thing I watched that I really wanted to share was a performance at Halloween Horror Nights called Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay. I don't know if there's going to be any footage put up online of it because video capture is strictly forbidden, but I hope it does get put online by Universal officially because I think the performance deserves to be recorded so people who didn't or could never attend can appreciate the talent that was on display. The best part for me was probably this one guy who came out solo and did a routine that was set around body torture by contorting their body and limbs in ways that looked incredibly messed up, but for them it was so natural you'd think they view everyone else as weird for not being able to do it. XD

Digimon World 3 Speedruns are an RNG Nightmare

First off, I am a simple being: I see Digimon, I click.
Second off: there are Digimon World 3 speedruns? Yes. Plural. I actually knew this was a thing because there's long been speculation that a Digimon World 3 100% speedrun would be one of the longest speedruns ever devised, with most estimates clocking in at 500+ hours. This is a crazy game to speedrun. It's absolutely absurd, and no one has ever tried it. No matter how you slice it, it did not surprise me that this game has a brutal speedrun. Sometimes, this game just sucks to play.
Third off, Guilmon is a top pick for speedruns? Perf.

The United States Grand Prix.

Spoilering for anybody who hasn't seen it yet:

Roald Dahl's The Witches

Caught this on when I was over Moony's family today, I happened to stay all throughout it. Only thing decent on TV this evening, well before more Halloween/Horror stuff kicks in soon, which I won't be able to stay up for because of work.

The Wheel.

We usually watch Pointless in the evening - but, that's gone to repeats from two years ago, so we switched to something different Tongue .

I opened the speedrun.com link and the first thing I read when the page loaded was "4 years" and thought for a second that was the run time. ROFL

I'd like to know what an actual run time for that game could come in at for 100% though and whether it would top either of these, which are apparently the two longest speedrun world records: It's made me curious as to how those runs actually work since it has to be in a single take, but I know Twitch has a cutoff for how long a stream can remain live before it has to be reset and no recording software could ever run for 22 days straight without needing NASA levels of data storage for the video. LOL

The 1% Club.

Sadly, I didn't get the 1% question this time... it was a very difficult one where I had to scan through a large block of the text "T&Cs" over and over, to see how many errors there were (for example: there was one that said "T8Cs", and one that said "T&C5" Tongue ).

I missed a couple of these errors - but then, it wasn't supposed to be easy!

Can You Beat RE4Rs Berserker+ Mod With Only The Bolt Thrower?

So, a little backstory. Resident Evil 4 was released in 2005-- nah, I'm kidding, let's get to the real backstory.

ZERO (aka ZEROistaken) is a challenge gamer mainly specializing in Resident Evil games, but also has branched out to Call of Duty before. His challenges are, quite frankly, absolutely ridiculous. Stuff like "can you beat RE2R with both characters AT THE SAME TIME" and "can you get the maximum possible rating in [insert game here] without running". This on top of the standard "beat the game with X limitation". Knife only, grenade only, rocket launcher only (no infinite rockets here; this run is harder than you'd think), stuff like that.

RE4R is already a pretty difficult game, but if you need a little zest, the modding community has your back: RabbitTooneedIM's Berserker Mod. Quite frankly, it is absolutely absurd the things the modder did to up the difficulty. Oh, sure, there's the standard "add more enemies to the area", but there's also things like "adding new weapons to enemies", "hey, you know that spawn point for an enemy? Yeah, it's over there now", and my personal favorite of "adding new boss fights". RabbitTooneedIM would also release the Valkyrie Mod for Separate Ways, doing similar terrible things to the game. ZERO beat the Berserker Mod knife only, which is actually explicitly mentioned to be impossible without modding the knife to have infinite durability, because of the mechanics change to the House raid sequence. I just wanted to outline the level of insanity we are dealing with here.

But some psychopath decided that just wasn't hard enough.

Enter BerserkerPlus. This takes the Berserker Mod, says "that's cute", and proceeds to crank the difficulty even further off the charts. And ZERO -- mad lad that he is -- decided the best way to do his first playthrough of it was with what is widely regarded as the worst weapon in the game: The Bolt Thrower. And keep in mind, when he says "Bolt Thrower only", he means it: no knives, no grenades, no backup weapons, no nothing. He truly hates himself that much. Let me tell you, this is a WILD journey from end to end.
