Well DBZ is what I think would be largely viewed as the anime more people have heard of than most, so it doesn't surprise me that it gets so many games at the frequency it does. Fighters also probably take less overall work and resources to put together compared to an RPG that is typically the genre of any other Toriyama games, especially when Bandai fighters are mostly arena fighters which go more for style over substance.

Did you try out any demos during the Steam Next Fest?

True. I also am not a fan of fighting games. I understand that some people love them, which is fine.

Yes, I did try at least two or three demo's I would have probably tried more but I also play a lot on Pokémon Violet since there was a huge shiny Pikachu event with shiny alolan riachu and normal riachu, with pichu and the mikumiku available shiny. Of which I got more riachu shiny compared to pikachu or mikumiku. I have also been trying to get through Everafter Falls. I'm on the second dungeon and am trying to find the final boss but have yet to come across it. So I'm working on getting to the next area since there are four total and the story continues as you progress in the dungeon for the game.

I've also been dealing with more chemo days. Before it was every 3 weeks until I became allergic to one of the drugs and am just getting one of them: thus, more days than I'm used to. At least it's usually every Thursday, but it's also like at 10am. So some days I just veg out to doing shiny hunting which is kind of something mindless for me to do. Or play some in my town of Animal Crossing New Horizons. Usually, I have been playing more Pokémon then AC as of late.

As for the demo's I tried I'll post them in the thread you linked & mention them here.

Demo's from next fest I tried
Caravan SandWitch
Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire
Scarmonde

My thoughts are in the thread you linked about the demos for these games. :3

I know I haven't posted much here, but I'm still dealing with chemo once in the week, I get a week off then go in for the rest of the month on Thursday for my treatments and it always wears me out since I nap through most of my treatment then get home and sleep most of the day and am up all night. I usually get a bit of rest the next day, but it's always rough but I usually can take some Benadryl which is able to help me fall asleep, thankfully.

I am planning to buy the new PS5 Astrobot game over the weekend, so hopefully I can get it at Best Buy if it's not in stock at the Meijer I go to which usually has physical games on sale there too.

Hope you enjoy the time you have with that game. I think a nice quality of the game so far has been the reasonably sized levels, so playing in short bursts is pretty free.

Wishing speedy treatment times for ya <3

Smile Thank you. So far treatment has been going well and I had a day off this week from it which was nice. I finally got Astro bot for my PS5, and the Ace Attorney: Investigations Collection physically for the Switch since I am a huge fan of Miles Edgeworth. xp

Since I doubt TCG Card Shop Simulator is the first card-based game you've played, what other card-based videogames have you checked out/enjoyed?

All the gba yugioh games the Playstation ones and that was it for yugioh,

Baiten Kaitos Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean has you using a card based deck for thier attacks. Same with the second game. The first gives you individuals decks to build you share a dexk with the party in the second one. I love both games.

Also I love the card game in ff9 but can't figure out the card game in ff8. FF7 Remake's card game isn't too bad if you know what your doing.

Those are all the games with cards I've played thus far. I have also played "moonstone island" and it uses cards for the monsters you catch, which is so good. So yea there are a few.

Edit: I do know about Slay the Spire since it's also a card based battle system. I just don't like defending the tower type of games. 🤷‍♀️

My favorite is Tales of Symphonia. I love all the characters in it. Especially Sheena.

Have you played the newest Final Fantasy & if so did you like it?

Final Fantasy XVI? Yes, I have the game for my PS5 and I did not like it. I thought it was basically DMC with a FF skin.  Sick

Did you know a fan made Queen's Blood available to play online?

Yes, yes I did. I'd rather avoid atmo though. Queens Blood seems interesting but I just suck at it sometimes. 🤷‍♂️

RE: Just call me Lady Queen - Moonface - Nov 19th, 2024

Hmm, I didn't know what Queen's Blood is so looked it up and it's funny that the first result I got was an opinion piece on why it shouldn't be a standalone title. LOL

It was this for anyone curious, all the way at the bottom of the article.

Yea, I read that and actually agree with them. The game itself just feels like it should be tacked onto something cause after a while Queen's Blood gets boring (for me) after a while. Then I want to move on and play something else more interesting. Like YuGiOh, cause at least the card game is interesting. The Pokémon card game is cute, but it's boring to me after a while too. I hate that TCG Pokémon Pocket makes you battle npcs for pack opening time. Ugh. I would love to have just played the TCG Card Game Sim with the Pokémon mod but no Nintendo had to take it down. (because of course they did  Errm ) In short I just want to open packs minus having to play the Pokémon card game.
