I'll gave the game (Pocket TCG) credit in that it at least simplifies the game to be way more digestible than its real-life counterpart. I actually kind of feel like I know what I'm doing now?

I completely get you. My entire friend group also just collectively said 'this is shit" and just started collecting rather than playing with the cards. Plus, the art got SO cool over time. Or sometimes, getting the chance to get a holographic, or even a foreign card? So hype. To heck with the game lmao

Would trading cards of AC really sell better than the amiibo cards though? From what I can tell on the official website there's a card for every character and the card has a use beyond just being collectible in a way that most AC players probably find appealing.

What if the collectable cards also double as amiibo cards depending on what you pull? There's already blind boxes for Barbie dolls, and other toys. Might as well get Nintendo money by pulling the same sh*t as every other companies.
