The Sims 4 - which, I went back to, after almost a month away from it Tongue .

Not too much happened yesterday, though: I'm mostly just waiting for a new Sim to be born, and for my existing ones to age up!

RE: Last Game You Played - queenzelda - Oct 10th, 2025

Digimon Story Time Stranger (PS5)

Yeah, I'm in the Digital World! The sequence of events that got me here was wild, let me tell you, but this game has been really good to me. Now, if only I could get those Digimon to stop calling me "egg thief"...

God, I love this game's sense of humor...

Minecraft: All The Mods 10 (PC)
Ugh, I've had really bad luck this week with this mod pack. First, I lost my fully upgraded trident in the Aether when it somehow didn't come back to me after throwing it at an enemy. Then a few days later, I died in the Nether to a boss and for some reason my grave was placed over lava rather than where I died, and when I popped it to get my stuff back I forgot that I'm carrying more things than my inventory holds because some stuff belongs in other slots that were added via mods, so anything that didn't fit fell into the lava which was roughly 6+ fully upgraded, max level trinkets/charms. After grabbing my stuff I went back to the town Shira and I have going and got welcomed with a chat message informing me that one of the builder NPC's we have died from fall damage... Mellow

Lunar Remastered Collection (PS4)

After slacking on it for a quite some time and a few restarts (due to missable items), I finally got around to finishing Lunar 1 and getting all of the trophies attached to it, and started up my play through of Lunar 2. Unfortunately no platinum trophy yet, as the trophy list is one big list for both games. I enjoyed Lunar 1 for what it was. It was your typical cheesy 90s JRPG full of stupid jokes and pop culture references for the time. Lunar 2 so far is pretty fun, definitely a bump up from the first game in terms of difficulty. Not that it's hard either, but enemies have more capability of taking down your team than they did in the first one. In the first game the only real threat ever were some of the bosses, but in Lunar 2 the normal enemies can prove to be a threat if you're not careful. I don't like that the auto-battle in Lunar 2 was dumbed down though. In the first Lunar, you can set your strategies up so that your party members won't use items, so you don't have to worry about them wasting anything valuable (like revival items). You can't do that in Lunar 2 though, and I've had to re-load multiple times because the AI decided to use a valuable healing item while I was just trying to do some mindless grinding for some extra money.

Etrian Odyssey HD (PC)

Finally decided to start up the first Etrian Odyssey game on Steam. Love, love, LOVE the EO series and I'm excited to play through the game on Steam. While this might not be the enhanced Untold version from the 3DS, I'm still going to enjoy the crap out of it, even while I'm constantly being mercilessly slaughtered by the game. Decided to start the game with the classic team composition of Protector(Defender)/Landsknecht(Warrior) in the front and Medic/Alchemist(Mage)/Troubadour(Buffer) in the back, though I also have a Dark Hunter (Debuffer) and Survivalist (Archer) on the bench to swap out with the Troubadour when I feel the need to. I've only played enough to explore through the first floor and a bit of the second floor of the first Stratum though, so haven't gotten too far yet.

Mind Zero (Vita)

This game continues to be one of the worst games I've ever played, but my determination to finally play and platinum this game keeps me pushing through despite that fact. I hate every second of my life playing this, but I will finish it.

Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic, to experiment with a new roller coaster design, featuring two sets of three interlocking corkscrews.

I messed it up, and the train ended up missing two corkscrews in each set entirely Tongue .

Digimon Story Time Stranger (PS5)

I actually managed to find something I don't like about this game, which managed to surprise me, considering I was 10 hours in! It turns out that some bosses tie a hand behind your back, and have in-built resistances to attacks. There are two types of attack: physical, and magical. This boss started at a phys resistance, and SHIFTED to magic resistance in the middle of the fight! And the worst part is this type of resistance interacts with the attack multipliers, meaning you get to see how your favorable type and element attack deals 60% damage instead of 300% (YES, IT'S THAT BAD; I HAVE THE PICTURES!). That fight was not fun, and that wasn't even the hardest fight in that area!

Genshin Impact

Got stupid lucky today on my PS5, after my pulling session earlier in the patch for C0 Lauma, I did a 10 wish pull for the hell of it and immediately won 50/50 for Flins out of nowhere. Also some artifacts I had left locked that had double Crit Rate and Crit Damage substats, two artifacts each only rolled into either of them, and my Goblet ATK artifact rolled into Crit Damage 3 times. Most were low rolls but I'll take it. My Sands ATK artifact only rolled once into the singular Crit Damage stat (was no Crit Rate), so I saw it as my luck ran out. So I did not pull for Flins' weapon here in case of a loss and pointless use of the 66 pulls I have still, which will be saved for another character. I put Ballad of the Fjords on him instead for now.

Getting Flins here allows me to decide between who to take between Flins or Ineffa from my secondary EU account for Imaginarium Theater (as the game allows 1 character from friends list to be used in the mode), so I can take Ineffa for sure when Electro/Hydro is present. It's also a positive early pull as opposed to my last early pull for my main, Cyno who I do not use and won't build any further than I already have (he's stuck on Lv 69, not even 70 for use in Imaginarium Theater). True, I would've preferred Nefer or Columbina or Alice as my early but it may not have been as lucky if I had wished on a later date.

Zenless Zone Zero

Completed events apart from a few worthless rewards, then playing through the most recent story before the next patch.

Do they at least shift back again, or does it really make you go into the fight thinking "They resist this type so I'll bring this type" only to pull the rug out from under you and make any planning beforehand pointless? Errm

Slay the Spire (PC)
Decided to do a run with a single relic for the achievement associated with doing so, and it irks me that my final run time was 20:18 when for the last week I was struggling to get near 20 minutes when purposely trying to. At least I already have the sub-20 minute achievement to not feel the sting of potentially missing it by 18 seconds but still...

RE: Last Game You Played - Maniakkid25 - Oct 13th, 2025

Oh, they just pull the rug out from under you! But, even more impressively, that wasn't even the hardest fight I had in that HOUR of gameplay! The very next boss I was WOEFULLY unprepared for; he does cracked amounts of damage, he's a Digimon type I'm not equipped to fight (my main team is currently very Vaccine heavy, making Data types a nightmare), and is even invulnerable except for his charge break sequence -- oh yeah, that's a mechanic that requires explaining!

So, some bosses have a wind-up to a super attack. During that wind-up, if you do enough damage (and the game does identify that damage with a white bar under their health bar), you'll break their concentration and get a chance at some more free damage (they already aren't attacking during the wind-up). If you don't they'll unleash a super attack that will wipe your party if you aren't guarding. For this boss, however, that is the ONLY time he is vulnerable to damage. It's a crazy difficulty spike in general, that fight.

LEGO Racers (with my sister, for old times' sake).

Of course, we find it trivially easy to beat properly (since the game's meant for children) - so, instead, we did our usual thing of trying to knock the champion as far back down the order as possible Tongue . Sadly, it didn't go well today: they still beat us half the time!

RE: Last Game You Played - queenzelda - Oct 18th, 2025

@Moonface It was a giveaway on a Pokémon channel I'm a mod on. I just traded an extra Grubbin I had for it.

Last game I played was Everafter Falls on my Switch.

RE: Last Game You Played - Kyng - Oct 20th, 2025

Transport Fever.

I went a bit mad with railway stations: I built five of them in a town of 100 people Tongue :

There is a point to this, though. The idea is that, by serving all these stations, I'll induce rapid growth - and much of the growth will be around the five stations (so there will be plenty of people wanting to use the railway line running between them).

So far, it's... kind of working? After I took that screenshot, there was some growth around a couple of the stations, and a decent number of people did start using that railway line - but not enough yet to make the line profitable!
