RE: Last Game You Played - queenzelda - Oct 26th, 2025 Pokémon Legends Z-A [Switch1]: I beat the game and am now doing challenger battles for a match ticket. I did some shiny hunting for an alpha Salamence & so far no dice yet. Just yesterday, I was filling out my Pokédex heading to wild zone 14, when running there my character clipped through the stairs and fell out of the world. I reappeared in a poke center, but I still thought it was hilarious. RE: Last Game You Played - Kyng - Oct 27th, 2025 Transport Fever again. My crazy plan of "Let the town grow around my railway" is actually working reasonably well: As you can see, I even had to add a sixth station where the town had grown outwards (with its own line to connect it to the rest of the network!) RE: Last Game You Played - Moonface - Nov 1st, 2025 Slay the Spire (PC) Decided to try out an endless run with Silent because that mode has an exclusive card that I haven't unlocked in the compendium yet, and today I got through to my fourth lap. Enemies now do 325% more damage so I'm expecting this run isn't going to last much longer, but I did get the card I was going for so at this point dying won't really matter. RE: Last Game You Played - queenzelda - Nov 1st, 2025 Animal Crossing New Horizons {Switch): Since the announcement of 3.0 for the Switch 2, I decided to move my old isle to my older Switch and start a new island. So, I've been playing for the last 3 days. RE: Last Game You Played - Dragon Lord - Nov 5th, 2025 Stellar Blade (PS5) Recently started going back to this to finish up the platinum. I have the PC version started too and I was just like, man, what are you doing? Finish up that PS5 platinum before getting too deep into the PC version of the game. Thus, here I am. Duet Night Abyss (PC) I have been waiting for this game for SO long, and last week it finally came out! I have been addicted to it ever since and haven't really played much of anything else. Originally this was going to be a gacha game, until the devs pulled a Gigachad move and removed all character and weapon gacha from the game, made it so you obtain all characters and weapons through farming/grinding and made the gacha cosmetic only. So now it's just a Warframe-like anime game with cute anime girls (and some guys, but we don't talk about that). The gameplay isn't anything too deep and amazing, but I find it addicting. I also love grinding in games (evident by the fact that I have like 3-4 platinum trophies that each took 300-500 hours to get), so this game strikes a chord with me. They also removed any sort of stamina system that you typically find in gacha games so that players can farm and grind freely to their hearts' content. I am 100% okay with them monetizing the cosmetics in exchange for the most important stuff (characters, weapons, content) not being forced behind a paywalls (or at least a pay if you actually want a chance at clearing it wall). The best part of it all is that it's already had an effect on other games, as shortly after the devs of DNA announced they were removing the character gacha, another upcoming gacha game, Ananta, also announced they would be removing all character gacha and allowing you to obtain all the characters freely in-game (weapons were never going to be a gacha thing in that game). It's great to see these games come out and go against the current of the gacha industry, and prioritize offering a fun gaming experience over monetization. Like I mentioned, they still monetize the cosmetics, but in the end those don't do anything important so I'm okay with them earning their money that way. They are allowing us to access the meat and potatoes of the game for no monetary cost. Stella Sora (PC) Another recently released gacha game (with actual gacha in it). This was another game that I was looking forward to for a long while, and while I love the characters and the gameplay, unfortunately this one did have some controversy around it that has kind of soured the player base. In the first beta test of the game, they had a pull set at 150 "gems" per pull, but upon official release, the price per pull was doubled to 300 for one. However, while doubling the cost of the gacha, they did not increase the amount of rewards you get in-game, meaning that you were earning gems based on an economy of 150/pull still, but with the pulls costing 300/pull instead. This obviously pissed off the players and caused the game to get absolutely bombarded with negative reviews (rightly so in this case). They came out with the usual "we hear you, we'll work on making things better" statement, but we'll see if that actually happens. I'm sticking with the game for now, because as I mentioned, I love the characters/art/gameplay, but if they don't show any serious improvement on their extremely greedy move, it will be another one that I drop because of a devs greed. Mind Zero (Vita) Still pulling myself through this game. I think I'm getting close to the end of the main game, but unfortunately I've read that the post-game is a major slog and requires you to stop and do so much major level grinding. I don't mind grinding, but unfortunately it's pretty brutal in this game due to how slow the game play is (there is a fast-forward, but it requires keeping R held down the entire battle, which is super annoying. Should have been a toggle instead). I'll get through it, because that's just what I do, but man this game has taken so much longer than I thought it would and it's been pretty awful from the start. Can't wait to do it all again on the PC version kekW. RE: Last Game You Played - Mr EliteL - Nov 5th, 2025 Genshin Impact Did the Saurian Sojourn event that ended on Sunday, played more of Unrailed in Miliastra and played Stygian Onslaught today on three of my accounts. I cleared Menacing on my main in 345 seconds which is basically all three bosses close to timer running out. I didn't even use Lauma or Flins on either bosses they were most ideal for as they just couldn't deal enough damage on them after their gimmicks went down or started up, without me having Nefer or Ineffa respectively to help and Aino couldn't help either. Did use Lauma/Nilou/Nahida/Kokomi bloom team on the third boss. Did a 30 pulls for Nefer but got nothing. On 45 pity, still have 90 pulls to use but I have to save them for someone else and not Durin who's coming next, so I should be saving for a while unless I go for Escoffier's weapon who might be in 6.2. On my secondary EU, I only did Hard for the Primogem rewards. My Flins/Ineffa should've cleared in Menacing on one boss but I lacked a third team good enough. Also couldn't think on what could deal with the new boss' gimmick. I didn't bother to try though. On my NA, I only did Hard again. My Skirk desperately needs Escoffier to clear now, the first Stygian was fine enough but new bosses are just ridiculous at times. Zenless Zone Zero Dailies and completed the photo event that is ending this week, just to get it out the way. Wuthering Waves Completed the main story Acts in the recent patch and dailies. RE: Last Game You Played - Kyng - Nov 9th, 2025 Transport Fever I'm getting to the end of my Denmark game now: I'm up to 1990 in-game. I connected up the last big gap in the freight network, by connecting a logging camp and lumber mill to a goods factory all the way across the map. (The distance - and the cost of building the line - is the main reason why I hadn't done it earlier; however, I'm now at the point where I can casually drop $500 million on a bridge ).From now on, I expect I'll be building the last few missing passenger links, and upgrading my existing services! RE: Last Game You Played - Mr EliteL - Nov 21st, 2025 Genshin Impact Completed the Sumeru event on all three accounts, plus dailies. Pulled for Arlecchino on my NA after learning today that Escoffier wasn't running next version and won 50/50. Makes for yet another 70+ pity so I'm hoping the next 5-star is an early. I'll pull later in a patch of Escoffier as that seems to have more luck with me in Genshin, as I pulled later for Flins in my main, Nefer on my secondary and now Arlecchino today. Zenless Zone Zero Clearing some events, finishing the current main story. Tried my pull-later-luck for Yidhari (this was before Arlecchino) because I got sick of waiting for a new Ice unit, and lost to Soldier 11. Will keep the guarantee for Ye Shunguang in two versions time. Wuthering Waves Also cleared story from previous version before it just updated to the current, I pulled for Chisa and lost to the stupid Lingyang, who's annoyingly fast-tracking his way to become my first 5* S6. He's also cursed me each time I pulled my 3 copies of Lupa either before her or after her. She's S3, equalling Verina and now Lingyang so I hope Verina gets there first because I actually use her. Oh but wait, shockingly at 1 Pity I got the double 5* into guaranteed Chisa, wtf?! Cool, but man I'm slightly annoyed I could've had double Chisa but nah the curse continues to haunt me. Been farming a few things, and exploring to get my Astrites up from a measly 35, before I begin the story chapter, or rather enter a rift as I already initiated the quest. RE: Last Game You Played - Kyng - Nov 22nd, 2025 Civilization V For once, not Transport Fever ! I picked up a game as the Netherlands from several months ago, which I'd like to finish off . Three civs (Korea, the Huns, and the Zulu) declared war on me in quick succession. But... they did so just as I was about to research Battleships. And, given that we were on an Archipelago map, this means they soon found themselves completely outgunned! As a result, I was able to take three cities: one from Korea, one from the Zulu (which was their last city), and one from Persia (whom I declared war on when I saw their boats massed outside one of my cities). As for the Huns... they're too far away to bother me .

Slay the Spire (PC) Just the daily run, where I ended up getting myself to 216 Strength during the final boss fight thanks to cards and relics that gave me strength, and using the two "Double Your Strength" cards in my deck whenever I'd draw them to just quickly build it up to a high number. ![]() Minecraft: All The Mods 10 (PC) Dang, @ShiraNoMai and I have been playing this since July and we only just finally got to the end of Chapter 2. There's still two more ATM chapters left and I can't even predict how long it's going to take to even do just Chapter 3. This image is from an older version of the modpack but this gives you an idea of how many quests the chapter contains, and there's actually more than this in the current version. x.x RE: Last Game You Played - Dragon Lord - Nov 30th, 2025 Elden Ring: Nightreign (PS5) Bought this since it was on a decent sale for Black Friday ($35 for the Deluxe Edition which comes with the Season Pass for the upcoming $15 DLC), thinking that maybe I'd like it more a second time around. Nope. Game is still hot garbage. But now it's on my trophy list with no way to remove it so now I'm going to have to buckle down and play it because it'll bug me otherwise. It's going to be extremely painful because this game is beyond bad. I don't know what made me think the game would be any less garbage the second time around, but boy do I sure regret spending money on this game again (but at least the first time I was able to refund it). I regret my life choices. RE: Last Game You Played - Kyng - Nov 30th, 2025 Transport Fever Having finished my Civ 5 game, I'm back to this . I'm up to the year 2000 now. I think I expanded my network a bit *too* much, though - and now, I'm going to try scaling back (or outright getting rid of) some of my unprofitable routes. RE: Last Game You Played - Dragon Lord - Dec 9th, 2025 Elden Ring: Nightreign (PS5) After pushing through all of the rage-inducing bullshit that the game has flung at me over the last couple of weeks, I've managed to learn, adapt and overcome the game. I've defeated all eight of the base game Nightlords and am now working on finishing up the trophies for the game. I'll dip into the DLC content once I have the base game stuff completed. As I posted in the achievements thread, I managed to get the hardest trophy out of the way today, which is nice. Rest of the trophies aren't too bad, so I should be on my way to the platinum in relatively short time. Though I do have to beat a Nightlord with all of the characters for one trophy, and I've only done it with two so far, so there's six characters left to complete runs on for that one. I'm only dreading two characters mainly, both the mage characters, because they are super squishy and everything is a major threat to you when you're playing solo and have no one to distract bosses for you. I have to finish a couple of the raid/invasion events that can happen during your campaign too. One is super easy to deal with, though the game hasn't been giving it to me. The other is defeating the 'Fell Omen' boss (Morgott), but he's an ass and always spawns when I'm like level 3 and haven't even had time to get a build going, and since I'm always so low level, I tickle him while he 2-shots me. Worst part is if you die to him, you get a perma debuff for the rest of your run that makes you take more damage, so it basically ends your run if you're not a Nightreign god (and while I've been getting much better, I'm not quite at that point yet). So that one will be a pain since I never get him at a good time, and only when I'm weak and fighting another boss (I can't tell you how many times he's done this to me). Hopefully I can get that one out of the way soon, because aside from the Nightlord Slayer trophy, that's the only other one that I've been dreading getting. RE: Last Game You Played - Kyng - Dec 11th, 2025 The Sims 4 I had a frustrating time finding a romantic partner for one of my Sims: the first eight or nine attempts failed, either because they were with men who weren't interested in women; because they had the 'Unflirty' trait; because they had to go to work; or because they just rejected her >_< . I found one in the end, though .
RE: Last Game You Played - Dragon Lord - Dec 20th, 2025 Elden Ring: Nightreign (PC) After completing the platinum trophy for this game on PS5, I did the thing that any completely normal gamer would do and got it in the Steam Winter sale and have been playing it on Steam the last day. Almost got all of the achievements done already, which really goes to show you that 90% of the difficulty in this game is just learning how to route well. I've just been blasting through it (not all solo this time, I played for several hours tonight with a friend -- this game is SUPER fun with a friend even when the game bullshits you). So yeah, you know, just normal me things having to buy the same game multiple times and 100% on different platforms. |
