RESULTS | Halloween Birthday Bash 2023 - Moonface - Oct 29th, 2023

Halloween is almost upon us, but what's upon us right now is the start of our 17th anniversary celebrations with our annual Halloween Birthday Bash!

I'll be running a variety of contests and activities during this event for everyone to participate in, focusing on Halloween and video games! Taking part in the festivities will earn you points that can be cashed in at the end of the event to get yourself some spooky prizes, so even if you're not lucky enough to win you still have a chance to get something!

You're also welcome to make and/or suggest your own contests and/or activities that are thematically fitting for this event, which will also be eligible for earning points.

1st Place
  • $10 PSN / XBL / Nintendo / Steam Gift Card or PayPal cash equivalent
  • 3 Non-Duplicate Shiny Universal Gaming Cards
  • 3 Non-Duplicate Standard Universal Gaming Cards
  • 1 Free Standard Universal Gaming Card based on a game not currently represented in the catalogue (it's Shiny equivalent will be created also, but not awarded)

2nd Place

Participation Prizes
Participating in this event will give everyone who doesn't place in the top three a standard version of our Halloween Birthday Bash themed Universal Gaming Card.

Additionally, points earned from participating in this event can be cashed in at the end to redeem anything listed below:
  • 1 Random Standard Universal Gaming Card - 1 point
  • 1 Random Non-Duplicate Standard Universal Gaming Card - 2 points
  • 1 Standard Universal Gaming Card of your choice from our Cards page - 3 points
  • 1 Random Shiny Universal Gaming Card - 4 points
  • 1 Random Non-Duplicate Shiny Universal Gaming Card - 6 points
  • 1 Shiny Universal Gaming Card of your choice from our Cards page - 8 points
  • Coloured Username for Two Weeks - 1 point
XP Bonuses
At the end of the event, I will reward XP to everyone for the amount of points they earn from this event, which will be done with a calculation of "Points x 20 = XP Amount", so for example, 18 points would be worth 360XP.

XP earn rates are also quadrupled for the duration of Halloween Birthday Bash 2023, which means posting during the event will get you more XP than usual!

Rules and Regulations
As usual, we have a couple of rules and regulations in place for this event:
  • Any evident signs of cheating or manipulation by any user during this event may result in immediate disqualification and forfeit of any prize you may have been eligible for.
  • Staff may compete and earn points, but are not eligible for cash prizes. In the event a staff member attains first place, the cash prize shall be delegated down to the first non-staff member in the second or third place position.
  • You must have at least 25 posts to redeem the cash prize.

Halloween Birthday Bash 2023 Results
It's Christmas Eve but there's still one last nightmare before Christmas to deal with, which is the results for our Halloween Birthday Bash! Let's see who our top three participants were:

I was meant to decide on what I going to do, but just didn't yet. But wow, I won 1st place, eh?

I'll request 8 points for a Shiny Yoshi card, the other can be a 2 point non-duplicate Standard card.

Plus a new card to add? Hmm. Let's go with...actually I instantly changed my mind, Octopath plz.
