New PC build - aerodynamik - Apr 24th, 2025 My current 8 year old laptop is due for a change. Went with something budget-friendly, yet future proof. Nothing too fancy, but I'm happy to finally be able to play some games again. I couldn't be bothered to build it myself, knowing me, in my excitement I'd break something. ![]() Specs: Case LIAN LI O11DYNAMIC EVO RGB Processor (CPU) AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8 Core (4.2 GHz–5.0 GHz / 104 MB w/3D V-CACHE / AM5) Motherboard GIGABYTE X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 (AM5, DDR5, M.2 PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 7) Memory (RAM) 64 GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (2 x 32 GB ) Graphics Card 16 GB GIGABYTE RADEON™ RX 9070 XT GAMING OC – 2 x HDMI, 2 x DP Primary M.2 SSD Drive 4 TB CORSAIR MP600 PRO NH NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD (up to 7000 MB/s read, 6500 MB/s write) Power Supply CORSAIR 850 W RMx SERIES™ ATX 3.1, MODULAR, CYBENETICS GOLD Processor Cooling CORSAIR ICUE LINK TITAN 240 RX LCD RGB HIGH PERFORMANCE CPU COOLER Thermal Paste APPLICATION OF ARCTIC MX-4 EXTREME THERMAL COMPOUND Monitor Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 LS32BG850NPXEN 32" 4K Ultra HD 240Hz Curved VA Gaming monitor Still looking into a new keyboard, and maybe a mouse too. RE: New PC build - Maniakkid25 - Apr 24th, 2025 Jesus, this is budget-friendly? My budget must be pennies, then... Yeah, that should be good enough for a good few years. Makes my computer rig wanna cry just looking at it. Then again, my rig is a used PC with a mid-level graphics card shoved in it, so *shrug*. Didn't want to spend like 1500 for a monitor, so found the Odyssey G8 a very nice option for only 600. So all in all, for 3100 I'm pretty happy. I could go fancier with more fans, cables, etc, but this will do for now. ![]() |
