RE: Nickelodeon Shows - lp0 on fire - Jul 21st, 2018 Honestly I enjoyed the mini parody of soap operas with the sketch where the mom has been stuck on a hot air balloon for years RE: Nickelodeon Shows - Nightingale - Jul 21st, 2018 I really liked that "Totally Kyle" segment they had... or at least that's how I think it was called. RE: Nickelodeon Shows - Mr EliteL - Jul 21st, 2018 I never actually watched Nickelodeon, since it was on cable/whatever the equivalent was here (Sky, etc. [whenever asked what service people had, it always was "Have you got Sky?"]) and my family never got it. Well, my grandparents did, but wasn't when I was in the 'must watch kids shows' phase. Only got to watch some whenever they filtered over to CBBC, CITV or Milkshake! on Channel 5. Didn't realise how many channels they have/had, only the main channel, NickToons and Nick Jr. are the ones I've heard of. NickMom, what? But man I remember the days when you had NickJr, Nick, then Nick at Night on Weekdays and Nick Jr, Nick, Snick/TeenNick, then Night at nights on weekends all on the same channel then TheNn(which was mostly educational stuff durning the day and teen rerun stuff like Daria at night) and GAS came as additional channels in the early 2000s. RE: Nickelodeon Shows - Nightingale - Jul 22nd, 2018 Nickmon, what? Nick at Night was the absolute jam... while they cared about it. It introduced me (or reminded me of the existence of) to dozens of amazing sitcoms that provided endless hours of entertainment. Truly a great era. Absolutely sad to see it go down as a place where they would repeat the same three episodes of ALF and Fresh Prince of Bel Air over and over. It deserved so much better. Nick at Night also technically had/has its own channel called TVLand. RE: Nickelodeon Shows - Nightingale - Jul 22nd, 2018 Out all of the above, only I Dream of Jenny and Bewitched were on my version of Nick at Nite. RE: Nickelodeon Shows - lp0 on fire - Jul 22nd, 2018 Oh man that sucks. I also forgot the Cosby Show...but it seems that is best forgotten now. RE: Nickelodeon Shows - Nightingale - Jul 22nd, 2018 Eh, we got Growing Pains and Happy Days instead, so I'd say it was a fair tradeoff. RE: Nickelodeon Shows - Nightingale - Jul 22nd, 2018 Nick at Night didn't start until just before midnight here RE: Nickelodeon Shows - lp0 on fire - Jul 22nd, 2018 Wow kids in your country stayed up late RE: Nickelodeon Shows - Nightingale - Jul 22nd, 2018 (Jul 22nd, 2018, 05:38 AM)percussive maintenance Wrote: I'd sometimes pull all-nighters for it.
