AGDQ 2025 Starts Today

Pretty banger start to the event for me with Astro Bot, Wind Waker, and Tomb Raider 2013 all being run back-to-back. I definitely want to catch the Astro Bot run to see what tech people have already found for that game.

It's been really good so far from what I have watched. Really really loving the unique run content lately, too. Makes it more interesting to tune into when it's something you really haven't seen or even thought of before is being shown, like the SMB Any% RTA Race, where all the stream feeds are overlayed on each other to show how close they all are; or even the NSMB Any% done on a fucking piano WHILE PLAYING THE MUSIC FOR THE GAME ON SAID PIANO! Like, how does one even conceive of such thing to run?!

Also, since AGDQ is over now, the final total raised for charity was over $2,556,305. Including this total, GDQ has now raised over 54 million dollars for charities since starting 15 years ago, with over 26 million dollars going towards the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Source
