It's funny that for how much this question gets asked of me on a regular basis by customers at my job that I never have the same exact answer every time somehow. LOL
Anyways, yeah I can't say I dislike it at all. Like most places I'd say it has things it does better/similar/worse but nothing so bad that any positives become redundant.
As for needing a car, that was a real pain in the arse for me when I first moved here because I didn't know how to drive. I never needed a car where I lived in England and although I had visited the area I currently live in multiple times before moving to it I didn't realize how dire the lack of a car really is because my vacations here didn't require me to worry about getting around. It would be awesome if cars weren't so necessary in the US but from the various YouTube videos I've watched on the subject it just doesn't look like it'll ever be possible to emulate the transportation culture of Europe due to the way everything has already been built here.
