That's... actually a pretty clever way to implement a character who isn't Japanese into something; usually a non-Japanese character will just speak Japanese in the subbed version without anyone really questioning it because you just naturally expect a singular language to be spoken. I don't really know how the dub could even try to maintain that trait for Wallace, because everyone else who shouldn't know/speak English would stick out like a sore thumb against the one character who isn't Japanese having the fact they know Japanese kept in the dub. Huh, before I read the full title I expected it to be Alice: Madness Returns because I recall @Karo being a fan of that game. I've only seen the movie (the Disney one) one time though so I couldn't even hazard a guess of where that term shows up, assuming the Disney version does use it. Also to reiterate Karo's question, what did you get for your birthday this year?
