Well, if it does arrive, I'll be three hours away, so I'll have to be driven all the way back to Paris to pick it up. So, you know, that would be annoying. I'm more worried it'll be stuck at JFK, though, because then I'm just fucked!

Ugh, that's so dumb. I also just realized that being in France means your phone isn't going to work for phone calls or if it does, it isn't gonna be cheap, so I can't even think of how you'd contact the airport and/or airline via phone unless the place your staying at happens to have a landline (quite possible given Europe doesn't seem to have really done away with them as much as the US already has).

I didn't yesterday, but I do today. The bag did make it to CDG airport, it just must have been on the flight I was supposed to be on before rebooking. So that's good. The fuckers told me it would transfer to the new flight, but that's neither here nor there now.

I'm not surprised it didn't transfer. I wouldn't expect any airline to actually bother looking through all the baggage to find the one that needs to move to another flight even though they should.

Are they gonna deliver the bag to you? They ought to since it's their fault it wasn't on your flight.

No, because the French mail service apparently sucks balls, so I'm going to pick it up. In fact, as of this post, I have it! I actually want to cry, tbh, because I am so done with today.

Me and my driver also helped an old guy who fell over. So, there's my Good Samaritan badge for the day.

Well on the one hand it sucks you had to get it, but on the other at least you got the darn thing. Sorry you had to go through all that bollocks though; hopefully the rest of your time in France will be less hectic.

Do you guys have anything actually planned to go out and do around where you're at or are y'all just playing it by ear as each day comes?

Besides Disneyland Paris on the last day, playing it by ear. We're all a bunch of D&D nerds, so there's not many places we would go. I threw out the Musee de Blindes in Saumur as a joke, but I'm not making my friends drive 4 HOURS to a tank museum so I can geek out at French tanks.

Ooh, Disneyland Paris is really neat and I think some of the rides there are better versions of the Orlando ones. Space Mountain is an absolute must (it really freaked me out to see a small child in the line for the Orlando Space Mountain because the Paris one has a height requirement and I didn't know at first the Orlando one didn't have any), and I'd recommend checking out Adventureland because it has a really unique layout to it and has a cool tunnel system to walk through. Unless the line is very short, don't bother with the Indiana Jones ride. I thought it would be a good ride because of how popular it is but it was definitely a case of just being popular for the name and not what the ride is like.

Oh and don't bother getting a ticket into the MGM Studio's area. When I went there it was so dull my family left within an hour and went back to the main park. Granted, it might be better nowadays but eh, the main park has more than enough for a whole day.

Oof I'd absolutely hate it losing a bag from a flight, thank goodness you got your bag back, Maniak. I've never been to France so enjoy the rest of your time there, and hope no more scares happen.

Well, my time in Frqnce has certainly gotten less hectic, because I managed to get sick! *noise maker*

Yeah, I must have caught something on the plane, because I've got the classic symptoms of "headache", "sore throat", and "general weakness of the body." I hate this trip.

Oh it's definitely the plane. As much as I hate it, that's why I wear a mask on flights every time now because whenever I don't I end up getting sick 9/10 times.
