I definitely wasn't allowed to own any Mature rated game until I was of age. I even tried to see if I could get away with buying one when I attempted to buy Devil May Cry 4 from the bargain bin once at Gamestop, but got carded (I was 16, a year off!).
First actually owned one must've been for the PS3, probably TLOU?

Bayonetta was never my game, it was Brian's, so it wasn't something I particularly owned, I just borrowed.
I did remember Left 4 Dead 2 exists, and that game I got in 2012 (first achievement was June 2012), so it may actually be that?
