Current/Last Thing You Listened To?

Yesterday I decided to play the Tekken Tag Tournament OST while driving in my car, then played a couple of Tekken 4 songs when I reached the end of that. Authentic Sky is such a banger when played on good speakers at volume.

Today I chose the Aenima album by Tool because I woke up with the opening song of that album stuck in my head somehow.

For me Disturbed songs in a playlist, one I created after listening to each album I own except Indestructible (though a number of them are in this playlist) to rank what I think of each song. Did the same with Linkin Park a while ago too which made me like listening to them both again after having a very very long break of not.

Ooh, I haven't listened to Disturbed in a very long time (other than the occasional "Down With The Sickness" or "Stupify" come up on my Liked Songs shuffle). I should add some songs to my list.

So, Metal: Hellsinger has a feature to listen to the OST in the game. Which is great, because the tracks have been removed from Spotify for some reason, so that sucks. Either way, this track is so sick.

Oh they added them and then removed them from Spotify? I always thought they had just never come to the platform yet.

Under the Influence - Citizen King

One of the few tracks I vividly remember from Street Sk8r 2 which is a game I played the heck out of as a kid. For some reason I always associate this track with the London level even though none of the songs in the game are tied to a specific level.

Yeah, no, there's a playlist for the OST, but all the songs are greyed out, meaning they've been removed from the platform for whatever reason. What's even stranger is that Two Feathers' other work is on there. It's just this OST that's been removed. My speculation is there's a licensing issue that's ongoing, but that's complete speculation with zero evidence.

I think I saw a playlist like that a while back, but I assumed that it may have been someone made the playlist for the local files on their system of the OST and shared it publicly, which would show the songs in the list but grey them out because they're not on the platform itself. I'm not sure how Spotify works for delisted tracks but given none of the songs feature album art it makes me think they're actually local files put into a public playlist.

I swear Heihachi gets a banger of a song in every game that had dedicated character stage tracks before the series switched to no longer attaching characters to stages.

This song always feels a bit darker to me than it already is because of knowing the lead singer of this band committed suicide.

Begin Again - Sayonara Wild Hearts OST

Decided to listen to this entire OST in my car today after experiencing the game yesterday in class. There's some real bangers in this soundtrack and I can definitely see why it was critically acclaimed in reviews of the game.

Haven't played this game for a while (TBH I think I've seen everything it has to offer), but the music is nice  !

Reading the sheet music for this one is...it hurts? I think that's a good way of putting it with the 16th runs at that speed. It is an enlightening and emotional piece, though, especially when you know it was made around the time of the November Uprising of Warsaw in 1830. To me, at least, you can hear the anger behind it in that context. It's really interesting.
