Ugh just noticed it also did it to the b html tag too. It's such a needless change that does nothing but make bold text harder to read!
Sure, it's easily fixed but it wouldn't need fixing in the first place if Chrome didn't break it on such a whim...

I kinda jinxed our weather, as yesterday there was practically no sun and today though there is sun, it's still cold. Previously it was just warm though and also cold at times. I won't say what I was going to just now, but maybe this will also jinx it to happen anyway.
Ah silly codes changing randomly. I view UG on Edge still currently and haven't noticed anything else out of place so far.

Edge and most other browsers nowadays run on some version of Chromium which is what Google Chrome is built on, so likely an issue that happens on one browser shows up on all of them and so the problem will probably be fixed at the same time for all of them that are affected.

I'm watching a streamer playing through Expedition 33 right now, and it made me think of an "interesting" question that I feel like sharing here:
If you're taking a dump when Thanos does the snap, does the shit in the bowl disappear too? If not, then if you were in the middle of pushing one out does it just get cut off?

...What the flying fuck?
That is legitimately my reaction to that question. Like...do I even deign a response to this question? Do I even want to know what you were watching to bring about this question? What can I say to this question. Just...WHAT?!

Yeeaah that's....I suppose there's other strange scenarios like that to ask about too, is that what you were watching, they mentioned one or two and you came up with on the toilet? Ah Expedition 33 has some people erasing like Thanos' snap does.
This is not strange exactly but how about child birth, in the middle of the process the mother goes but the baby doesn't, but if the baby is still attached, would the baby go too? Ah surely we don't need to ponder these.

So Wizards of the Coast has fucked up!
You may know Wizards of the Coast for their (mis)handling of Dungeons and Dragons, but they also have a flagship card game: Magic: the Gathering. And Wizards of the Coast managed to do something so MONUMENTALLY STUPID I'm actually impressed! But, first, a bit of background.
Universes Beyond has been a series of sets that MtG recently has done where they make cards that are based on other universes outside of the MtG lore (yeah, there's a lot of lore and story in the card game. Don't ask). They've done this with Final Fantasy, Warhammer 40k, Lord of the Rings, Transformers, and several others. "Neat," you may say. "This is a cool way to cross-promote and potentially pull fanbases of other games into their card game!" And you'd be right; despite controversy from many long-time Magic players, the Universes Beyond series has been selling like crazy, pulling in all sorts of new players. And, in one fell swoop, they managed to fuck it all up.
Come September, there is going to be a Spiderman Universes Beyond set. And with it, they announced a problem: they were not able to secure the digital rights for making the cards. This means that the cards that are going to be STANDARD FORMAT LEGAL (Standard being the main format of play in MtG tournaments) will NOT be available on Magic the Gathering Arena or Magic the Gathering Online (long story as to the difference, but basically Arena is the more newbie-accessible version of the two). As such, they will instead roll out a completely different set of cards that are functionally identical to the Spiderman cards, but will have new artwork and new names. Not only this, but this will be the plan going forward with any IP they are unable to secure the digital rights to.
I want to make this perfectly clear: they were able to (temporarily) secure the digital release rights for Warhammer 40k cards, which is owned by GAMES WORKSHOP (who is NOTORIOUSLY defensive about its IP), but they failed to do this with DISNEY! HOW DO YOU FUCK UP ON THIS LEVEL, HASBRO (Hasbro owns Wizards of the Coast)?! If your wondering how this is a titanic fuck up, look at it from this perspective: in order to be able to swap between paper and digital play, you will now have to know TWO different sets of artworks and names for the SAME CARD! This video goes into more detail about how this is going to completely screw the game up, but my god, man!

As for what I was watching, I mentioned it was Expedition 33 (a new game that just came out if you don't recognize the name). At the start of the game everyone over a certain age gets essentially Thanos snapped, which was what made me start thinking of really out there scenarios and questions related to such an event.
For a more sane one, I always wondered what happens to the people Thanos snapped away who were in a plane or on a boat. From what I could tell, everyone came back in the exact place they were when they disappeared, which means a lot of people would be coming back in scenarios where they probably died immediately. God forbid if a pilot was the one who got snapped; that means everyone who was left behind on the plane likely died because the plane would crash without a pilot, and then everyone who disappeared will come back x thousands of feet in the air and plummet straight to their deaths.

Hmm, I'd say it would probably separate them if the baby was born because at that point it is a separate living entity that can survive outside of the womb, while in the womb it still relies on the mother to survive. The lighter option is unborn babies go with the mother and then both come back, while the dark one is the baby stays behind and dies because it is now outside the womb when it shouldn't be and undoing the Thanos snap won't change that baby's fate.

Also, Disney might not be the party to blame here because Sony are the ones who own the rights to Spider-Man, which is why there was that whole thing a while ago where Spider-Man may have been removed from the MCU because Sony were being hard asses about the IP.
However, I'd argue the fault lies mostly with WotC because why secure the use of an IP in only a partial sense? If you can't use it fully to the point you have to do stupid stuff like what has to happen with these Spider-Man cards, then just don't use the IP and find something else.

Sony owns the MOVIE rights to Spiderman. If they owned the FULL rights to Spiderman, then there wouldn't still be comics featuring him, nor would he be a part of Marvel Snap. Marvel may have been going bankrupt at the time, but they weren't so stupid as to sign away the complete rights to one of their biggest IPs at the time to anothet company.

Ah, I thought it was more than that because of the Insomniac Spider-Man games. I also oddly forget that Marvel comics still get made; there's always so much focus on just Marvel movies and shows and not much else that I always overlook them.
Snap is a digital card game right? Maybe Disney didn't want WotC having digital Spider-Man cards out of fear it would stop Snap being the only digital card game featuring the character.

Yeah, that's the speculation that the video I linked to also makes, but we seriously have no idea. Whatever the case, this stupid deal went through, and now we are going to be dealing with the consequences for the foreseeable future.

Something I just thought of; are cards for the physical and digital games separate in terms of buying them? Because if so, I won't be surprised to learn the digital non-Spider-Man versions of the cards will cost as much as if they were actually Spider-Man cards when they should probably be cheaper since there's absolutely no license attached to the digital versions.
