A little too late on their part. Anyone who has already completed this joke of a game has no reason to go back to it just for CM. I feel sorry for anyone who is actually going to torture themselves by playing this this shitshow a second time just for CM.

It reminds me of when Naughty Dog added Grounded Mode to The Last of Us. It was OK, but the only reason I played it was because I was still playing the game actively anyway due to the multi-player. Had TLoU been a single-player only title, the time at which Grounded Mode came out would have been far too late and too little to justify many people replaying the game, and I think that can be said for almost any game getting a new difficulty mode that doesn't already have a reason for people to be coming back to it.

I actually haven't finished playing KH3, so due to their adding CM; I could go through it using said mode. Or not, I'll have to think about it since KH3 was kind of a disappointment; since it's minus Cloud & all the other SE FF characters as it usually had them in before. <_<

Re:Mind DLC Announced for Kingdom Hearts III
The first DLC has been announced for Kingdom Hearts III ahead of today's Square Enix's E3 conference.

Since there's no other topic for the Kingdom Hearts games, I'm going to revive this corpse of a topic because today Square Enix announced that three Kingdom Hearts games will be coming to Steam on June 13th. The three games will be:

• Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix
  
• Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
  
• Kingdom Hearts III (w/Re:Mind DLC)
  

The Epic Store PC exclusivity seems to have finally ended and now the KH series will be coming to Steam. When Square Enix didn't announce a PS5 port of these games, I thought I was safe from having to go through the nightmare of 100%ing these games for a third time (second in the case of 2.8 and III), but instead...

Nope. I disliked KH3 so much that I was never interested in getting the DLC and playing through it.

Of course, my weird obsession with 100%ing the same games multiple times will override my dislike of KH3 and I'll get it on Steam, haha.

Tbh I don't even see WHY I should by KH3's dlc. I mean does it add in the FF characters it's clearly missing in the game?: Does it add anything good to it? I just don't see the point since the game is already terrible as is. I kinda doubt the dlc will improve it any really. 🤷‍♀️

With how the reception to KH3 was at launch and continued to worsen when the honeymoon period ended, it makes me wonder what the approach will be for KH4?

Ideally it would go for a soft reboot just to save people from trying to keep tabs on all the lore that's spread all over the place and let it start fresh without any baggage, but if SE cared about avoiding a lore nightmare they could've stopped that before now.
