Just think, what if Jeff Jarrett never followed Vince Russo to WCW in October 1999 after No Mercy that year? There could be no TNA and no GFW. Which means guys like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and many others very well may have not become the stars they are today.
Thus, I'm going to fantasy book as if Jarrett would have stayed with the WWF and how things would go according to me. So shall we start?
First off, I am going to continue with Jarrett being called "The Chosen One" as of October 18th (the original day he re-debuted on WCW television). But this time still in the WWF. So after No Mercy where he lost clean to "The Ninth Wonder of the World" Chyna, Jarrett comes out during a segment and announces that he's done laying down for women and that he's "The Chosen One" starting tonight and leaves the ring. Then later that night when The Rock 'n' Sock Connection are in the ring wrestling The Holly Cousins for the WWF World Tag Team Champions, Jarrett interfere's hitting Hardcore with his guitar. Thus costing Rock & Sock the tag titles as they get DQ'ed. Over the course of the next few weeks, Jarrett continues to screw The Rock out of matches and a match between the two is scheduled for Survivor Series 1999.
About halfway through Survivor Series, while being interviewed, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin gets in a scuffle with WWF Champion Triple H and is lead to the parking lot. While in the parking lot unable to find Triple H, the camera cuts to a black car screeching towards Austin, it bursts through a fence and hits Stone Cold leaving him laying out cold while the black car drives away. In the process it takes him out of the main event between HHH and Austin.
Later in the night, Jarrett goes one on one with The Rock beating him with his finisher "The Stroke" in about 15 minutes. Before the main event, Jeff is named as Austin's replacement as a reward for defeating The Rock earlier in the night. After about 18 minutes of hard, back and forth action Jarrett hits HHH with "The Stroke", covers him for the one...two...three winning the WWF Championship to end the show.

So we pick back up at Armageddon, where Jeff is set to defend his world championship against The Rock in a steel cage match. After a bloody battle and a match that ends closer than anyone would have thought just a few months prior, Jarrett escapes the cage successfully retaining his championship.
Next up is the 2000 Royal Rumble in which The Rock ends up winning just like he did in real life last eliminating The Big Show. But earlier in the night, Jeff Jarrett (who is still WWF Champion) makes an open challenge to anyone who wants a shot at the WWF title. Out comes the debuting Tazz. In that match, with interference by Kurt Angle, Jarrett picks up the win in and will head into No Way Out still WWF Champion.
As the weeks progress and we head to the WWF's next pay per view; No Way Out, Jeff is matched up against the undefeated Kurt Angle as it was his favor for helping him at the Rumble. In that match, former manager and valet Sunny is seen at ringside along with her boyfriend Chris Candido. Midway through the match, Candido jumps the guardrail and grabs Jarrett's guitar. Candidio hands it to Jeff and tells him to smash Kurt in the head with it. Jeff ends up getting himself DQ'd as the referee wakes up just as he hits Angle in the head with the guitar. Thus retaining the WWF Championship once again meanwhile retaining Kurt's undefeated streak.
At WrestleMania 2000, the show will look like this:
- Tazz will be taking on an undefeated Kurt Angle in a submissions only match.
- T & A (Test and Albert) (with Trish Stratus) take on Big Bossman & Bull Buchanan (with Chyna).
- The British Bulldog takes on Perry Saturn, D'Lo Brown and The Godfather for the European Championship.
- Edge and Christian take on The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz in a triangle ladder match for the WWF World Tag Team Championship.
- Hardcore Holly takes on his cousin Crash, Al Snow and Steve Blackman for the WWF Hardcore Championship.
- Chris Jericho takes on Chris Benoit for the Intercontinental title.
- The Radicalz (Dean Malenko & Eddie Guerrero) take on Too Cool (Scotty 2 Hotty & Grandmaster Sexay) (with Rikishi).
- Kane takes on D-Generation X (Road Dogg & X-Pac).
- The Big Show (with Shane McMahon) takes on Triple H (with Stephanie McMahon).
- Royal Rumble winner The Rock takes on WWF Champion "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett (with Candido and Sunny).
In the match at WrestleMania, The Rock is taking it to Jeff for most of the match taunting him every chance he gets. The Rock begins to set Jarrett up for The People's Elbow. He throws his elbow pad into the crowd, does the criss cross motion Rock is known to do and begins to run the ropes. Just as The Rock jumps over Jarrett to hit the second rope, we see a re-debuting Shane Douglas hit The Rock in the back with the WWF Championship knocking him out cold. Douglas then jumps the barricade and runs through the crowd in Anaheim. Jarrett covers a motionless Rock for the one....two....three! Jeff Jarrett retains the WWF Championship at WrestleMania 2000.
The next night on Monday Night Raw, the show opens as Jarrett, Candido, Sunny and now Shane Douglas walk out and get booed just about out of the building. In the promo that proceeds, Jarrett says "this faction of men right here are "The New Blood" of professional wrestling and that they're not going to lay down for anyone."

Next up is Backlash. Where The Rock has been granted his rematch against Jeff Jarrett for the WWF Championship. In the match, Jeff is accompanied to ringside by fellow New Blood members Douglas, Candido and Sunny. In that match, Jeff and company are taking every advantage possible against "The People's Champion". Just as Jeff is about to hit his patent "Stroke" finisher when we hear glass shatter and a returning Stone Cold Steve Austin hit the ring with a tire iron and begins to beat the holy hell out of Jarrett, Douglas and Candido. Sunny gets in the ring and jumps on Austin's back raking at his eyes to try and stop the beatdown. It works for a few seconds as Austin pushes Sunny off of him. He looks at her with the tire iron still in hand. Austin then begins to approach her as if he was going to hit her as well when Jarrett makes it to his feet to stop the assault. The now active Rock turns Jarrett around, hit him with The Rock Bottom, and pins him with the one....two...three to end the show.
The next night on Monday Night Raw, Austin comes out and reveals that Jeff Jarrett was the one who hit Austin with the car at Survivor Series. Jarrett comes out and says it was indeed him and ever since that night, look at what has happened. He's beaten everyone he's come across and has become the top guy in the company because Austin wasn't there anymore to hold him back. If it wasn't for Austin, he (Jarrett) would have been WWF Champion a long time ago. He is "The Chosen One".
At the next months pay per view; Judgment Day, Jarrett is set to faceoff against Steve Austin with no help at ringside as any outside interference is barred from ringside or they will be fired. During the match, Jarrett and Austin battle back and forth. As the match progresses, Austin takes the upper hand and hits Jeff with the Stone Cold Stunner for the one....two...three. As soon as the bell rings, The New Blood storms the ring from the crowd. Douglas, Candido and Sunny start attacking Stone Cold. Jarrett stumbles to his feet and starts to taunt Austin. Jarrett asks a broken and battered Austin if he's had enough yet. He then kicks at Steve with the others and tells him that he'll say when he's had enough. Then Jarrett says that he's got one more surprise for him and through the crowd, Lance Storm hits the ring and begins the beatdown over again with the rest of The New Blood as the show goes off the air.
The next pay per view is the 2000 King of the Ring. Jarrett makes it to the finals as he takes on Chris Benoit. Through a hard fought battle and surprisingly no help by The New Blood, Jarrett beats Benoit and is crowned the King of the Ring. During Jarrett's post match interview he claims himself "The King of the Mountain" in the WWF and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it and that the WWF just became his playground.

The next show is Fully Loaded 2000. Where "The King of the Mountain" Jeff Jarrett with Lance Storm in his corner is matched up against "The Big Red Machine" Kane with The Undertaker in his. During the match, Lance tries to interfere many times but The Undertaker stops him at every attempt. Shortly after kicking out of a chokeslam and Undertaker is shocked, Jarrett signals to Storm for the guitar to be slid in so he could use it on Kane. While Lance slides it in and starts brawling with The Undertaker once more, the referee is distracted trying to break up the fight between the two. Jarrett smashes the guitar over Kane's head and pins Kane for the one...two...three.
At SummerSlam the next month, Jarrett is matched up against The Undertaker. This time in a steel cage match where no one can interfere. Jeff somehow finds a way to escape the cage and defeat Taker. Also at SummerSlam Candido and Storm with Sunny take on The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz and Edge in Christian in the first ever Tables, Ladders, Chairs, and Kendos match for the WWF World Tag Team titles. But unsuccessfully win them. Shane Douglas also wrestles at SummerSlam against Val Venis with Trish Stratus in his corner for the WWF Intercontinental Championships but is also unsuccessful in capturing any gold.
At Unforgiven 2000, Jarrett is matched up with Candido with Sunny and Storm at ringside against D-Generation X's Road Dogg and X-Pac with Tori by their side. During the match with interference by Sunny on Jarrett's side as well as interference by Tori on DX's side, the match breaks out into a riot as Storm lastly interferes by hitting X-Pac in the back of the head with Jarrett's guitar as Jarrett covers him for the one...two...three and picks up the win for The New Blood. Also at Unforgiven, Shane Douglas who is still in the Intercontinental title picture, challenges Eddie Guerrero this time for the Intercontinental Championship but loses to Eddie as Chyna interferes and costs Douglas the match.
A month goes by and we make it to No Mercy 2000. The New Blood is still feuding with D-Generation X. Jarrett and Douglas team up this time to take on The Road Dogg and the returning from injury "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn (together known as "The New Age Outlaws"). The match is competitive but in the end, Jarrett and Douglas end up winning against The Outlaws surprisingly with no outside interference. Also that night, Lance Storm with Candido and Sunny at ringside challenges European Champion William Regal for the title. But ends up losing to Regal with the "Power of the Punch".
At Survivor Series 2000, The New Blood's Jarrett, Douglas, Candido and Storm (with Sunny) take on D-Generation X's Triple H, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg and X-Pac (with Tori) with a classic elimination Survivor Series matchup. The match ends up coming down to Jeff Jarrett for The New Blood and Triple H for D-Generation X. When all is said and done Jarrett picks up the win for Team New Blood with The Stroke finishing move. The New Blood all celebrate over a broken down and beaten DX as the show goes off the air.

The year 2000 wraps up with the WWF's final pay per view of the year with Armageddon. At Armageddon, while the rest of The New Blood competes in their own matches, Jeff prepares for the very first ever six man Hell in a Cell match as he takes on The Rock, Triple H, Stone Cold, The Undertaker and current WWF Champion Kurt Angle. During the match which ends up going on over an hour in length, Kurt Angle retains the championship against the men mentioned above.
Next up is the 2001 Royal Rumble. Before the Rumble match itself, we see fellow New Blood members Candido and Lance Storm with Sunny at their side defeat Edge and Christian for the WWF World Tag Team Championship. As well as Shane Douglas beating Chris Benoit for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. During the Royal Rumble match, Jeff Jarrett wins the matchup last eliminating The Rock. Thus earning another shot at the WWF Championship in the main event of WrestleMania X-Seven.
At the following month's pay per view No Way Out, we see Jeff once again taking on The Rock (this time with Vince McMahon in his corner). Throughout the match, Vince tries to screw Jarrett every way imaginable claiming that Jeff has never been "The Chosen One" but The Rock had been. Vince's plans unfortunately fail as Jeff picks up the win against The Rock with "The Stroke". In another match at the pay per view, we see Storm and Candido (with Sunny) retain the WWF World Tag Team Championships in a rematch with Edge and Christian. Shane Douglas also retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship in a fatal four way match against Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Perry Saturn.
A few days before WrestleMania X-Seven, it's announced on Monday Night Raw that Vince McMahon has purchased World Championship Wrestling AND Extreme Championship Wrestling in one fell swoop. Thus ending the "Monday Night Wars" once and for all.
At WrestleMania X-Seven, we see the show as follows:
- Kurt Angle challenges Chris Benoit in a submissions only match
- WWF European Champion Eddie Guerrero (with Perry Saturn) defends his title against Billy Gunn (with X-Pac)
- WWF Hardcore Champion Raven faces Tazz, Kane, The Big Show in a fatal four way match for the championship
- Shane Douglas defends his WWF Intercontinental Championship against William Regal.

At Armageddon, while the rest of The New Blood competes in their own matches, Jeff prepares for the very first ever six man Hell in a Cell match as he takes on The Rock, Triple H, Stone Cold, The Undertaker and current WWF Champion Kurt Angle. During the match which ends up going on over an hour in length, Kurt Angle retains the championship against the men mentioned above.
Next up is the 2001 Royal Rumble. Before the Rumble match itself, we see fellow New Blood members Candido and Lance Storm with Sunny at their side defeat Edge and Christian for the WWF World Tag Team Championship. As well as Shane Douglas beating Chris Benoit for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. During the Royal Rumble match, Jeff Jarrett wins the matchup last eliminating The Rock. Thus earning another shot at the WWF Championship in the main event of WrestleMania X-Seven.
At the following month's pay per view No Way Out, we see Jeff once again taking on The Rock (this time with Vince McMahon in his corner). Throughout the match, Vince tries to screw Jarrett every way imaginable claiming that Jeff has never been "The Chosen One" but The Rock had been. Vince's plans unfortunately fail as Jeff picks up the win against The Rock with "The Stroke". In another match at the pay per view, we see Storm and Candido (with Sunny) retain the WWF World Tag Team Championships in a rematch with Edge and Christian. Shane Douglas also retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship in a fatal four way match against Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Perry Saturn.
A few days before WrestleMania X-Seven, it's announced on Monday Night Raw that Vince McMahon has purchased World Championship Wrestling AND Extreme Championship Wrestling in one fell swoop. Thus ending the "Monday Night Wars" once and for all.
At WrestleMania X-Seven, we see the show as follows:
- Kurt Angle challenges Chris Benoit in a submissions only match
- WWF European Champion Eddie Guerrero (with Perry Saturn) defends his title against Billy Gunn (with X-Pac)
- WWF Hardcore Champion Raven faces Tazz, Kane, The Big Show in a fatal four way match for the championship

At WrestleMania X-7, The New Blood's Shane Douglas takes on and defends his WWF Intercontinental Championship against William Regal. During the match Regal hits Douglas with brass knuckles to pick up the win and the Intercontinental Championship in the process.
During the very next match Lance Storm and Chris Candido (with Sunny) take on The Hardy Boyz (with Lita), The Dudley Boyz (with Spike Dudley) and Edge and Christian (with ECW's Rhyno) in a four team Tables, Ladders, Chairs and Kendo Stick match. During the match each manager at ringside is involved in a altercation with the other teams but by the end of the match Edge and Christian pick up the win to win the WWF World Tag Team Championships.
In the main event of WrestleMania X-7, Jarrett is set to face the man he took out at Survivor Series 1999 "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. It just so happens to be for the championship that Austin lost his chance to wrestle for that fateful night. In his place is the man that ended up winning the title and went on a long five plus month title reign in Jeff Jarrett. But this time Austin is WWF Champion. During the match at WrestleMania X-7, Austin battles back and forth with Jarrett for twenty plus minutes with neither man able to hit their finishers. Towards the end of the match newly acquired WCW talent Booker T hits the ring while the referee is down and hit Jeff Jarrett with his own guitar. Booker then rolls out of the ring and through the crowd. As Jeff staggers to his feet, Austin hits him with the "Stone Cold Stunner" and pins Jeff for the one...two...three! Retaining the WWF Championship in the process. Austin celebrates like only he can as WrestleMania X-7 comes to an end.
The next night on Monday Night Raw, Jeff Jarrett and the rest of The New Blood faction come out to start the show and call out the man who cost him the WWF Championship at WrestleMania X-7; Booker T. Booker is shown on the titantron apparently not in the building but instead at a remote location. Jeff challenges Booker to a match which Booker quickly accepts. The match is made official and will take place at the next PPV; Backlash 2001.
At Backlash 2001, Booker T is set to face off against Jeff Jarrett (with The New Blood member Sunny at ringside). During the match Sunny hands Jeff his weapon of choice; the guitar and smashes Booker with it as the referee's back was turned and picks up the win for the one...two...three.
Next up at Judgment Day 2001, Jarrett is put in a tag team match with Shane Douglas (with Chris Candido, Lance Storm and Sunny at ringside) against Booker T and his new partner Shane McMahon. During the match The New Blood try to interfere as usual but the referee sees it this time and sends Candido, Storm and Sunny back to the locker room. While the referee is busy escorting The New Blood out of the arena, Shane McMahon hits Douglas in the head with Jarrett's guitar. Booker T then covers an unconscious Shane Douglas for the one...two...three and the victory as the show goes off the air.
The next pay per view is the 2001 King of the Ring. During the course of the night, Jeff is set to take on fellow New Blood members Lance Storm and Chris Candido round one and two of the King of the Ring tournament. Both Storm and Candido lay down when the bell rings. While Jeff pins them for the easy victory advancing to the finals. In the finals, Jarrett is set to take on Rob Van Dam. Who has had to take on the likes of Spike Dudley in round one and Rhyno in round two. Both matches going over ten minute mark. So while Van Dam is tired, Jeff is very fresh. During the match, Rob battles Jeff to his absolute limit but Jarrett prevails in the end with "The Stroke" and becomes the 2001 King of the Ring. After King of the Ring comes Invasion 2001. At Invasion Jeff Jarrett, Shane Douglas, Chris Candido and Lance Storm also known as The New Blood will take on WCW/ECW "Invaders" Rhyno, Justin Credible, Diamond Dallas Page and Chris Kanyon in a four on four tag team match. During the match, newcomer Dallas Page and Kanyon from WCW hit their finishers on Lance and Chris taking them out of the match for some time. Justin Credible goes for his finisher "That's Incredible" on Jarrett but Jeff counters and hit him with "The Stroke". Meanwhile, Rhyno hits Shane Douglas with "The Gore" spearing Douglas legitimately out of one of his wrestling boots. But Jarrett and The New Blood prevail when Jarrett crawls to Justin Credible after "The Stroke" and pins him for the one...two...three! The New Blood faction wins against "The Invaders". They celebrate as usual as Sunny comes to ringside to cheer on her team as the screen fades to black and we head to the main event. In the main event current WWF Champion The Rock is set to face off against former five time WCW World Heavyweight Champion Booker T. During the match, The Rock hits his "Rock Bottom" finisher but Booker counters into his version called "The Book End" and pins Rock for the victory and the WWF Championship as the pay per view goes off the air.
At the next pay per view; SummerSlam 2001, Jeff Jarrett is matched up once again with Booker T. But this time it's for the WWF Championship. Jeff is accompanied to the ring by New Blood member Shane Douglas while Booker is lead to the ring by Shane McMahon. Before the match starts, the referee who is sick and tired of seeing interference by both Shane's. So he sends both managers to the locker room and states if either man has someone interfere in the match or anyone tries to get disqualified, then that man will not only not be WWF champion but also be fired from the WWF. Orders that were given to him by Vince McMahon. Both men agree to the stipulations and the bell rings.
During the match, Booker takes it to Jarrett for most of the match. But towards the end of the match, Jarrett fakes out Booker by sliding his guitar into the ring. Hitting a hole in it on the ring post, throwing it at Booker and laying down. The referee sees Booker T with the guitar in hand and a downed Jarrett and calls for the bell. The WWF Championship is then awarded to Jeff Jarrett as both men had agreed to the match stipulations before the match. The New Blood come to ringside as the match is over and celebrate with Jarrett on their shoulders once more AGAIN WWF Champion as the show goes off the air.
During the next month, the unfortunate terrorist attacks of 9/11 happened. So the former Olympic Gold Medalist was slated to take on new WWF Champion Jeff Jarrett for the WWF Championship at Unforgiven 2001. At Unforgiven, all of The New Blood faction were once again at Jarrett's side because Jeff said he didn't "feel safe" by himself anymore in this world or the WWF. Angle agreed that Jeff needs all the help he could get so The New Blood can be at ringside during the match. At the conclusion of the forty-seven minute match, Jarrett and the rest of The New Blood take many cheap shots at Kurt and busts him open at one point. But in the end, the Olympic Gold Medalist goes wild and takes Douglas, Candido and Storm out at ringside. While even going as far as kissing Sunny and throwing her down afterwards. Angle finishes off the match kicking out of two "The Stroke" finishers from Jarrett, pulling down his singlet straps and slapping on the ankle lock submission hold as Jarrett taps out. Kurt Angle has won the WWF Championship. Everyone from Kurt's family rushes the ring to celebrate with him as the pay per view just happened to take place in Kurt's hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. The show goes off the air with Kurt's family hoisting him up on his shoulders as he holds the WWF Championship up high as the PPV goes off the air.
The next night on Monday Night Raw, "The 9th Wonder of the World" Chyna comes to the ring and begins to mock and laugh at Jeff Jarrett for tapping out to Kurt Angle at last night's Unforgiven pay per view and losing the WWF Championship. Jeff comes out and says "listen up Slap Nuts, I've never seen you as WWF Champion before. So why don't you put your money where your mouth is and face me at next month's pay per view and we'll settle this like men...since you seem to be one." Chyna accepts on two conditions. The New Blood is barred from ringside and the loser of the match won't be covered in flour and eggs like before, the loser will have to retire! Jarrett accepts. Two years later almost to the day Chyna will take on Jeff Jarrett in a "loser leaves the WWF" match at No Mercy 2001.
We fast forward to No Mercy 2001 in what will be either "The 9th Wonder of the World" Chyna's last match or "The King of the Mountain" Jeff Jarrett's. With no one at ringside to help aid Jarrett who in the past two years has become not only a multiple time WWF Champion but the 2000 and 2001 King of the Ring as well as the 2001 Royal Rumble winner thanks to his New Blood faction, will he be able to retire Chyna or will he be the one who gets retired? Only time will tell.

He even goes as low as pulling down his trunks and shoving his bare bottom in her face. But Chyna counters the forceful attack with a low blow to the testicles. Leaving Jeff in pain on the mat. Chyna then picks Jeff up for a delayed suplex walking around the ring with ease before she drops him down with the move. She then picks him up with his butt still exposed, scoop slams him down to the mat. Not once, not twice but three times in a row. Then Chyna grabs a microphone and says "You know what Jeff? There's only one way you're leaving the WWF, exactly like you came in...on your back like the BITCH you are!" As Jeff is scurrying away like a rat outside the ring, she grabs Jeff's tights which are still exposing his butt, puts him in the pedigree position, and pedigree's Jarrett for the one...two...three. "The 9th Wonder of the World" Chyna successfully defeats "The King of the Mountain" "Double J" Jeff Jarrett and unfortunately that means this fantasy booking of "Jeff Jarrett Never Left WWF In 1999" has come to an end.
