I moved this into this thread since it fits better here. Smile

Anyway, have you played any of this yet? I really enjoyed the first PPT but I don't know if the sequel has enough different about it to warrant buying it.
A NEW PC!

So, I managed to find a nice PC with specs that are more than good enough for my standards (3.6 GHz i7 Quad Core, Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB of RAM, and all sorts of good stuff), and at 150 bucks under my budget! Sure, it's a refurb, but hey, I'm not above that kind of stuff, especially in the current market with the parts shortage. Special thanks to Karo for inspiring me to *gasp* search on eBay.
Very nice, Maniak! Out of curiosity, how old was your last set-up? ROFL
It's only about 4 years or so now? It's just that even from the start, it's setup was long in the tooth, and only got worse with time. But, it was MORE than enough for me at the time. It's just I'm straining the limits of my computer with the games I've been playing recently. Then again, I got it for, like, 400 bucks on Newegg? So I got a decent life out of it. And I'll still be using it as my DVD ripper due to a mistake I made with buying a program (turns out the key for it only works on one computer ever, so I'm definitely going to try and get my money's worth out of it!)
Monster Hunter Rise (NS)
Neptunia ReVerse Limited Edition (PS5/Pre-order)
got myself an expensive ass gaming PC. used a website that let me customize it. ryzen 9 5900x, RTX 3070, 32 gigs ram, 2 tb nvne ssd. fucking cost an arm and a leg. so I didn't get a monitor because way too much after that but I think this will last a few years
Mass Effect Legendary Edition (PC version), & I preordered Miitopia for the Switch off of Amazon. [:
adding to all the pc purchasing,

got a wireless keyboard and mouse so my life is simpler on the couch. also got Xbox elite series 2 controller for it which.... uhhh.... was expensive as all fuck

then I got 4 metroidvania games.

ender lilies
lost ruins
lodoss war
touhou luna nights

Could have saved some money by just using your DS4 controller. Steam fully supports it (as well as the Dualshock 5 now).

Did you try the demo at all?

gaming PC doesn't have Bluetooth so it would be wired and I didn't want to be tethered. getting a Bluetooth dongle means there would be latency that I didn't want to deal with lol.

but I got myself another metroidvania!

Yes, I also own the original 3DS version. I love the update to Miitopia & I really want to play it on the Switch again. If I feel up to it, I might stream it. I love Miitopia, it's a great game impo.

I'll take wired connection over an inferior controller. Then again you're playing on a TV instead of a computer monitor, so you're already doing it the inferior way.

My last purchase was pre-ordering the Midnight Black PS5 controller. Saw pre-orders for the Crimson one were selling out already, so figured I'd go ahead and secure a the black one while I could, in case there ends up being some stupid type off shortage for controllers as well. Can't trust them with any of this shit anymore.
