Ah. Does he have his own Switch too then? Since I thought islands were tied to systems and not the cartridge itself.
Last game I played was Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I played or a while & made some bunny day stuff.

Yea, I bought him his own Switch for his birthday since I knew he'd want to play on his own island.
Nioh Season Pass
Trials of Mana (PS4 | Pre-order)
Persona 5 Royal: Phantom Thieves Edition (PS4)
Ys Memories of Celceta: Timeless Wanderer Edition (PS4 | Pre-order)
Nioh 2 Special Edition (PS4)

Been enjoying Nioh a lot so I went ahead and bought the Season Pass to get the three DLCs for cheaper than buying them individually. I also went ahead and bought Nioh 2 now, and went with the Special Edition since with by 20% discount through Best Buy, I can get it cheaper than buying the game + Season Pass separately (Special Edition comes with the Season Pass). End up saving about $10 on it overall this way.

And then a couple of pre-orders that I've been forgetting about. Finally got around to putting them in.
Just bought Doom Eternal earlier today. Looking forward to playing it!

Enjoy! I got it at release and beat it within about a week, and it was really enjoyable. It has a few issues in the earlier moments (I found some level design to be questionable) but after the first few levels it gets really damn good!
Trials of Mana (Switch)

Was going to buy the digital version, but found the digital was £10 more than the physical copy. Patiently waiting for delivery which should be today.

Prinny 1•2: Exploded and Reloaded - Just Desserts Edition (NS | Pre-order)
Moero Crystal H - Limited Edition (NS - Pre-order)
It was a "Complete your collection" DLC bundle for Civilization VI. This gave me two things:

  • The Nubia civilization and a scenario. I haven't played either yet Tongue .
  • A Viking scenario, which is infamous for receiving overwhelmingly negative reviews. However, I thought it was fun (if a bit easy, due to the game's combat AI being no good at all). Nevertheless, I can see why it got so many negative reviews: it wasn't worth anywhere near full price, so I'm pleased that I got it for 60% off!
World War Z (PS4)

It's kind of like Left4Dead. You go through levels with a team of four (players or AI) and you have to defend points, wait for doors to open (that create noise and cause a zombie swarm) and other such things as that. I got it because a friend of mine wanted to play it (we both really like L4D). At first I expected it just to be a cheap L4D rip-off, but the game is actually pretty fun. There's a lot more customization than L4D. You have several classes to pick from, which each have their own perks to purchase. Guns also have upgrades you can purchase, that do a variety of things such as increase damage, decrease recoil, increase accuracy, etc.

So the idea of the game is like L4D, but you have this whole layer of customization added on top that makes the game different enough from L4D to be quite a bit of fun.
Arcade Archives Mario Bros. (Switch eShop), with part of what I had left from my eShop funds
£50 eShop Card (digital code)
God Eater 3 (Switch)
Code Vein (PS4 physical copy)

Have £34 left to use which I'll be putting to the Fire Emblem Three Houses Expansion, but also considering one or two more before/after that.
