Preordered Super Mario RPG from Amazon last week. 💜

Ooh, that's tempting. I'll have to keep that in mind for if I decide to just grab one of the new controller colors sooner than later. Hmm
Yeah, it's pretty nice. I made it even better by using the rewards points from my Amazon Prime credit card to knock the price down further to a lovely $25.

But yeah, I can't remember seeing DualSense controllers down to $50 before, so would be a good time to pick one up if you need a new one or just want a nice, new color.
The Half-Life Complete pack on Steam (which I believe includes everything from the franchise except Alyx).

At just £5.49, it was a steal!
Super Mario RPG Remake baybeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Oh, and a physical copy of Persona 3 Portable for PS4 via Limited Run Games.

I did a similar purchase but alas cheaped out a lot more. ROFL

Half Life 1 (PC) - Free
Half Life 2 (PC) - 99c

Figured I'd just grab the second game while it's on sale since I added the first game to my account just now for free. I wasn't too fussed about getting Episode 1 and Episode 2 really or whatever else the Complete Pack happens to contain.

Yeah, those are the two games I'm most interested in - although, since it's not much more for the Complete pack, I thought I might as well just get that Tongue !
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox (PS5)

Noticed that copies seem to be drying up, so decided to pick up a copy while I still could. It was $10 off at Best Buy, so a very slight positive on that.
BallisticNG (PC) - $11.99
I've had this game in my Steam wishlist for a while now and got reminded it was in there by getting a notification that the game is currently on sale. It looks like a really close recapturing of the older WipEout games and I love those, so hopefully this game ticks all the boxes for me, especially with Sony probably doing nothing with the WipEout IP anymore.
Dark Souls II (Steam)
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (Steam)
Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy (Steam)
Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy (Steam)
Stranger of Sword City (Steam)
Lost Epic (Steam)
Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection (Steam)
Sword Art Online Last Recollection (PS5)

Steam Fall sale yay~

Yes, I bought both the original version of Dark Souls 2 and the SOTFS version. Was always my plan, and both of them were on sale for $20. Though I saved a little bit of money by buying vanilla Dark Souls 2 first, and then buying SOTFS with the discounted "upgrade" price of $14 instead of $20. Buying both of them is required to achieve my goal of 100%ing all versions of Dark Souls, Dark Souls II, Dark Souls III and Elden Ring on all the platforms that matter.

Etrian Odyssey Origins bundle was a great deal. Normally $120, it's on sale for $46.77. Comes with three games: Etrian Odyssey, Etrian Odyssey II and Etrian Odyssey III.

Operation Abyss, Operation Babel and Stranger of Sword City are fun little dungeon crawlers from the Vita that were on sale for $4 each, so I scooped them up too.

Lost Epic is an interesting looking 2D anime styled "Souls-like" game that was 50% off. Had it on my wish list for a while and figured it'd be an okay time to snatch it up and check it out.

The SAO game was $40, which is only $20 off its normal price, but it just released in October so seeing it for $20 off already was enticing enough for me to snatch up a copy.

There's a lot more I wanted to get in the Steam Fall Sale, but I figured that I better wait until the Winter Sale since there tends to be better discounts during that sale. Picked up the handful of things that were either really cheap or I've really wanted to get.
Born of Bread [steam]: it's basically a Paper Mario like rpg. I played the demo and loved it. It released today on pc for 10% off so I bought it there. 💜

Holy shit that's an insanely big discount. At that price it's practically buying one game and getting two for free almost. Gasp

I was curious about this having not heard of it before, but I'll be damned if I could find a trailer from the developers that actually manages to do a decent job of really showcasing the game. I did check out a review to see if that would give me more context, which it does but then looking at comments on it and Steam indicate a lot of things have been changed about the game in a recent update so I have no clue what the general consensus of the game accurately is now. I'd be curious to see what your thoughts on it are whenever you start playing through it because of all of that.

Another game I hadn't heard of but got intrigued about to look into. A brief look at the trailer definitely gives me Paper Mario vibes, and I was curious about the demo but unless I'm blind it doesn't look like it's available anymore on Steam. Unsure

I just purchased some things myself because I've been loving BallisticNG and decided to grab the DLC expansions for it:
  • BallisticNG - Maceno Island Expansion (PC) - $2.99
  • BallisticNG - Outer Reaches Expansion (PC) - $2.99
These plus a load of workshop content I added to my game just now too is going to give me a ton of new stuff to check out even though I still haven't even seen everything in the base game yet. ROFL
For Born of Bread: If you own a ps5, you can try the demo there is it's still available. I just checked too, might have to search for it though. So far I am really loving it. 💜

Oh neat! I didn't realize the game was also on console but that's nice to know since if I like the demo and decide to get the game I'd rather get it on console anyway. Thank you! ^_^
NieR Replicant (Steam)
NieR Automata (Steam)
Triangle Strategy (Steam)

Decided to pick up some of those SE games on sale before it ended.
