Yeah I can't say there was much to really go by back then to really replicate without it feeling "clone-y". Other horror genre games were Doom and Quake, but I can't see the Doom idea working out for something like Dead Space where aiming is part of the challenge (considering Doom is just shoot in the direction of enemy regardless of Y axis position). You'd have to probably make it more like a shooting gallery type game I think for it to work

I think originally it was for the Wii (because motion controls) but then it got ported to other platforms as a bonus with Dead Space 2.

I saw this come up on Twitter today and thought it was sick: Elden Ring, but for the SNES?
Reminds me of FF6 and a bit of 7. I actually don't think a game like this could run on a Super Nintendo. It'd probably have to be on the PS1
