PlayStation Wrap-Up 2025
Well, despite having played a tiny amount on my PS5 this year, I guess it wasn't enough for Sony to record anything because my PlayStation Wrap-Up has absolutely zero stats. Going by my trophy lists, it seems I only played
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on January 2 for maybe an hour or two to finish the story, and then I played like 3 hours of
Doom: The Dark Ages when it released and that was it. So collectively I probably used my PS5 for not even 6 hours this entire year and haven't touched it at all since May 17.
Not really surprising, given I didn't really have interest in many games on PS5 this year and I was also hesitant starting up any new games in the second half of this year due to needing to focus on finishing up my degree program. Looking at releases this year I didn't touch but would want to, it really only comes out to this:
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
- Chronos
Just a really shit year for PS5 offerings that I would care for. It's kinda just adding to the argument of not bothering with a PS6 whenever it comes out, especially since the few games I've listed are all on PC anyway. Literally not a single exclusive for me to care about.
Steam Replay 2025
Okay, actually a platform I spent time on this year where I can get some stats:
- Games Played: 6
- Achievements Unlocked: 54
- Longest Streak: 307 Days
- Top Games:
- Slay The Spire - 56% of Play Time / 816 Sessions Played
- The Binding of Isaac: Repentance - 26% of Play Time / 355 Sessions Played
- Grounded - 12% of Play Time / 55 Sessions Played
My full replay can be viewed here if anyone is interested:
Moonface's Steam Replay 2025
Slay The Spire being first doesn't surprise me because I started that game this year, so I spent a ton of time in it just playing the game normally. It'll be interesting to see what the stats for it will be next year because I'll really only be playing it for the daily runs like I do with
The Binding of Isaac. Also my Replay backs up how the second half of my year went; you can really see it in my playtime per month chart where the start of the year has way more playtime and then drops down a lot for the second half of the year.
Other Games
So this doesn't get tracked by anything, but the only other game I played a lot of this year was
Minecraft with @
ShiraNoMai . I will be surprised if this wasn't my most played game this year by a huge margin because I played through three different huge packs this year:
- Drehmal: Apotheosis
I started this in 2024, and finished it up in May and this is still the best gaming experience I had all year. This could have been a standalone game asking for $70 and I'd have been happy to spend every penny on it.
- Better Minecraft 4
The first modpack I've ever played in Minecraft, and it was a very interesting experience going into it with no knowledge of any mods. The only downside to it was the lack of incentive to do much of the content outside of the major mods it included.
- All The Mods 10
Currently playing this one, and this one resolves all my issues I had with BMC4. It isn't about just get strong and beat the final boss and you're done, and the inclusion of MineColonies lets me do a lot of creative building stuff without all of the effort resting entirely on me.
