I like what Square had to show for once. In their conference and Nintendo's.
Oninaki continues to look very promising, the Seiken Densetsu games look worth the purchase, Romancing Saga 3 and SaGa Scarlet Graces look good, FFVIII on PS4 completes the PS1 trio available on PS4 (and gives an easy platinum), and I suppose the Crystal Chronicles remaster, even though we've known about it for a long time now and they didn't really offer a whole lot of new information on it.
Overall they had the best showing in a very weak E3.

That's actually a little disappointing. I kind of want to replay the XIII trilogy, but my laptop won't run them and I'm too lazy to hook up my PS3, wherever that is.
Either way though I am all about that VIII remaster. Gonna buy it twice at least, once on PS4 and once on Switch. Also depending on how they do it I might get it on PC as well. I have FFVIII on Steam already and I don't know if they'll release it as a separate title or if it'll be one of those free updates, similar to how Dark Souls: Prepare To Die auto-updated to the Remastered version.

I'd have found Square's conference a lot better if they had swapped their opening and closing games. FF7 was such a big opener and nothing else they showed could have matched or topped it for a closure. They should have opened with Avengers and closed with FF7 so that it built up to something worthy of ending the show on. I enjoyed the conference a lot less because of that ordering.
