I knew of her mainly from Heroes and Until Dawn, and I do remember her in the Scream movies too (well not 4, not seen that one). Crud though, she's gone so early, it was indeed a shock to me when I saw it as a recommended video to me on YouTube when I never knew she was Kairi. RIP to her.

@Mr EliteL Can't blame you for that one. She voiced Kairi in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, but then was replaced by Alyson Stoner for every appearance of the character after that (Kingdom Hearts III, Kingdom Hearts: Memory of Melody). There's a lot of speculation on why the replacement happened, but I seem to see most people pointing to Hayden's difficulty with drug use being a huge reason why.

But yeah, sad to hear someone the same age as me die of cardiac arrest. Though I will say it really does kind of make me open my eyes more and really look at the way I live (not exactly the healthiest of diets and a huge lack of physical activity at all) and makes me realize I need to change real fucking fast or it might not be too many more years until I find myself having the same thing happen to me. Obviously in her case it wasn't because of those reasons that she had this and was likely due to past/recent drug usage (toxicology report hasn't come in yet, but they found no signs of any physical trauma that could have caused cardiac arrest to happen), but just the fact that someone my age had this happen to them makes me realize I need to try and pull myself away from that same outcome if there's still time to undo years of super unhealthy living.

Her brother died only two years ago of a kinda similar thing, which was "aortic valve complications arising from cardiomegaly" and I wonder if maybe she had something similar and it might be some genetic thing?
