Can You Beat RE4Rs Berserker+ Mod With Only The Bolt Thrower?

So, a little backstory. Resident Evil 4 was released in 2005-- nah, I'm kidding, let's get to the real backstory.

ZERO (aka ZEROistaken) is a challenge gamer mainly specializing in Resident Evil games, but also has branched out to Call of Duty before. His challenges are, quite frankly, absolutely ridiculous. Stuff like "can you beat RE2R with both characters AT THE SAME TIME" and "can you get the maximum possible rating in [insert game here] without running". This on top of the standard "beat the game with X limitation". Knife only, grenade only, rocket launcher only (no infinite rockets here; this run is harder than you'd think), stuff like that.

RE4R is already a pretty difficult game, but if you need a little zest, the modding community has your back: RabbitTooneedIM's Berserker Mod. Quite frankly, it is absolutely absurd the things the modder did to up the difficulty. Oh, sure, there's the standard "add more enemies to the area", but there's also things like "adding new weapons to enemies", "hey, you know that spawn point for an enemy? Yeah, it's over there now", and my personal favorite of "adding new boss fights". RabbitTooneedIM would also release the Valkyrie Mod for Separate Ways, doing similar terrible things to the game. ZERO beat the Berserker Mod knife only, which is actually explicitly mentioned to be impossible without modding the knife to have infinite durability, because of the mechanics change to the House raid sequence. I just wanted to outline the level of insanity we are dealing with here.

But some psychopath decided that just wasn't hard enough.

Enter BerserkerPlus. This takes the Berserker Mod, says "that's cute", and proceeds to crank the difficulty even further off the charts. And ZERO -- mad lad that he is -- decided the best way to do his first playthrough of it was with what is widely regarded as the worst weapon in the game: The Bolt Thrower. And keep in mind, when he says "Bolt Thrower only", he means it: no knives, no grenades, no backup weapons, no nothing. He truly hates himself that much. Let me tell you, this is a WILD journey from end to end.

Ooh, I'll need to check that out at some point. I love watching challenge videos for games, moreso if it's one done without modding the game as those usually make the challenge to be beating the game without using a key mechanic, such as jumping in platformers, so you get to see some really creative stuff. NGPlus and Gamechamp3000 are the two that I watch for such things if you've never checked out either of those channels.


Currently watching someone on Twitch doing an OoT randomizer with Ship of Harkinian to add in extra stuff like random enemies and such. I'd love to do such a run myself sometime, but I never actually finished OoT vanilla when I played it on my 3DS and can't even remember how far into the game I got so I'd wanna go back and beat the game vanilla first before doing any extra stuff with it.

Speed Goes Pro Episode 5 (WWE)

Out of the "celebrities" that have taken part in WWE in some capacity recently, Speed's up there, or pretty much the only one up there. I watched this with a genuine smile on my face, as he trained with Albert/A-Train, Finlay, Sheamus, Orton and another dude then his first match to show what he had.

I've not watched any other episodes and judging by the comments it's either a series by Speed as he's done other stuff, or a series by WWE of "(person) Goes Pro" but posted on a channel associated with them as some commenter wanted Ronaldo for Episode 7, or they meant Speed going football/soccer. I didn't investigate which at the time.

It looks good for the McLarens on paper: Piastri is 1st and Norris 3rd, with Verstappen down in 6th. But, knowing what McLaren have been like for the second half of this season... I feel like there's every chance they'll find a way to bottle it >_< .

Speed Goes Pro Episode 5 (WWE)

Nah, without question the best celebrity involvement in WWE is Bad Bunny. The matches he did set the bar incredibly high and if you've never watched it, this match is a must-see: WWE Backlash 2023 | Damien Priest vs. Bad Bunny - San Juan Street Fight


I'm currently watching a poor soul playing through Shenmue 2 for the first time, and I don't think there's another game series I could strongly disagree with more as being considered among the greatest of all time. It's like watching paint dry.

Alright, that was a pretty good match, a decent length of time as well, the interruptions only lasting 5 minutes added to it and didn't take away from the match going on. Bad Bunny did well, they both made it look like a legit match, having a story progression within it.

A show about Legoland; specifically, its preparations for Christmas.

It's been aaaaaages since I last went, so I think I'll have to go again (although, it's a bit late for me to go this Christmas!!!)

I was a child when I last went to a Legoland. Not sure if I'll go again, but leaning towards won't. I can imagine their preparations and creations/decorations are fun and look great tough.

AntsCanada's most recent video of putting a goat into his largest vivarium, so it can graze on plants, plus more grazers as basil was getting out of control, the grazers were in there only momentarily though. I stopped watching for a few months and started watching a couple of his videos again, production and quality is still top-notch.

Tokyo Godfathers
We wanted to watch a Christmas movie on Christmas Eve night, and it wasn't until I was looking for something we hadn't watched before that I realized just how much garbage out there for Christmas movies. I was using this list from Rotten Tomatoes that lists movies in order of rating, but so much of that list just looks like the same exact thing to me which is some variant of a love story. Ended up coming across this in there though and it caught my eye, so we ended up watching it.

Actually a very good movie where Christmas is there but the story isn't relying on it as a crutch to try and make events matter, rather it just enhances the messages the story is trying to convey. Great animation, and I enjoyed how the main characters don't pull punches when it comes to insulting each other because it actually shows how close they really are to be able to speak to each other in the way they do at times. We managed to watch it for free on Tubi so it isn't hard to check it out, unless you're outside the US and there isn't a free alternative but I want to assume there would be. If it isn't asking for an outrageous price though then I'd say it's worth paying to watch it.

Thor Ragnarok

Not seen it fully before just clips. Preferred this Thor to Endgame Thor, actually got a good showing. Disliked Valkyrie, but she got better towards the end.
