Indeed, thanks a lot of that! Not a lot of games recommended to me are that successful - but then, that's because people usually recommend games that they liked, rather than games that I would like .
Anyway, I'm back to playing The Sims 4 now. After a month away from it, I think my Sims need attention... fortunately, they didn't wreck the house or anything while I wasn't looking!

Well I can't claim to like or dislike the game because I never played it. I just came across it and you immediately came to my mind as someone who might find it interesting.

Been making big bank from mining trips today and yesterday. Weirdly my most profitable days occur when the fortune teller says the spirits are as pissed off as possible.

My daily run today ended with me giving birth via C-section to babies that spun around while wielding a sword. I'm only writing this because of how messed up it will sound to anyone not super familiar with this game.

FTL: Faster than Light
Here's the setup I have going into the final sector:
My weapons setup isn't great: the weapons I have are all fine, but they don't synergise with each other especially well. And I could do with a fourth shield bubble. But I still have a few more battles to go before the flagship fight, so I should get enough scrap to be able to afford that!

Genshin Impact
Finishing off the Vibro-Crystal event and started the...Itto event. I wasn't going to but darn I need the primogems. Also on my main I did what I wasn't originally going to do and got Arlecchino, I got her weapon first which made me decide to actually go for her in the end. Won't go for any cons though.
Pokémon White 2
Seemed to have misplace my DS so playing this on my 3DS. I did have a save file but it barely had anything on it just Snivy, an Azurill and something else at very low levels. Begun are new file and tried to do a Nuzlocke with the basic rules and...failed at Cheren. I got a Purrloin which died against Hugh in the Floccesy Ranch, KO'd the Lilipup in the Ranch that was going to be my third Pokémon, got a Patrat in Route 20 which died along with Snivy against Cheren. I didn't level the Patrat enough so Snivy had to try and get through at only Lv 13/14 which was equal to Cheren but just wasn't enough. So now starting over with a Tepig. Have to grind more, forgot how long it takes to get low levels up, and be careful not to faint them.

@ Mr EliteL: What spurred you to start playing White 2 again? Was it because of @ Dragon Lord planning a playthrough of Black?
The Binding of Isaac: Repentance (PC)
I was expecting today's Daily Run to be themed around Mother's Day, but weirdly that happened like three days ago or something and today's run was just a typical randomized run.

Well, as an update on my previous FTL post, I won that game... but it went right down to the wire. I had only two hull points left!
Once again, though, FTL was the last game I played. After that victory, I've started a new game, this time with a boarding ship (the Mantis B cruiser). It's going very well at the halfway point, though: I have good weapons, good defences, and good crew!
My only slight regret is that this ship will never have Hacking. That's always fun - and useful!

Little Kitty, Big City (NS)
Finished off the game today, and it's a cute game overall but the lack of polish and very shallow gameplay makes it hard to recommend it until a price drop, especially once the initial charm the game has wears off.
Fallout 3 (PC)
Recently started this after finally getting it to work. It feels like I haven't done much yet since leaving Vault 101; I went through Springvale School first, then made my way to Megaton, talked to everyone in there and then went to the Super Duper Mart for a quest. I died quite a few times in there because even with Small Guns at something like 34, I continue to miss the broad side of a barn even with 80% hit chances. I also utterly suck at hacking; I locked myself out of both terminals despite their difficulties being easy, so I now have zero confidence tackling another one of those when I come across one.

Well, I won that game of FTL, then lost my next one, then started a new one this evening.
My new one ended in sector 2, when a party of boarders destroyed my Clone Bay while my crew were reviving inside it.
I think I need a break from this game!

Cassette Beasts (PC):
We're (friend and I) clearing up the end game side-quests, and one of the few remaining is to record a beast called a Khepri. You get a guaranteed encounter in the form of a mimic chest, but the game doesn't exactly tell you this thing has like 1HP/0 Defense, so we killed it that first time forever ago, before we even acquired this side quest. You can still attain this beast in the wild in the same area, but its spawn chances are, and I quote, "slim". We spent a good 20-25 minutes doing a hunt, finally saw it, but we had a beast out that had "Random Starter" which means it selects a random move from its pool and uses it automatically. Of course, it chose a double-damage move and specifically targeted that beast (it was a double battle), killing it immediately. What a comedy of errors.
It appeared again later but we were smart and swapped out a beast that didn't have a Random Start or Pre-Emptive Strike sticker on it, and were able to catch it.

Wuthering Waves (PC)
WuWa release finally arrived back on Wednesday, and I've been playing it heavily since. It's the next big open-world gacha game from the developers of Punishing Gray Raven. It has a bit of similarity to Genshin, but comes with MUCH better combat, a lot of amazing QoL features for exploration that Genshin sorely lacks (unlimited stamina while sprinting out of combat, can run up walls to make climbing faster, has an ability you can use for bursts of fast traveling). So far I've having an absolute blast with it. Thanks to their beginner banners, I was able to get the 5* I wanted the most, and then they gave away a 5* selector ticket as an apology for some of the rough aspects of the release, so that allowed me to get the 5* I wanted second most, so I'm feeling pretty happy with the early parts of the game.
While I don't expect WuWa to dethrone Genshin as the open-world gacha game (it'll be extremely difficult for any game to do that, considering how deeply rooted Genshin already is), I am personally finding myself having a lot more fun with this game and I can definitely see my Genshin time drastically lowering in favor of spending time in WuWa instead.
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (PC)
Finished by fifth and (thankfully) final 100%ing of this game. With this, I have 100%'d vanilla Dark Souls II on PS3, Xbox 360 and Steam, and the Scholar of the First Sin version on PS4 and Steam. May god have mercy on my soul and never allow Fromsoft to release a PS5 port of this game that will have a separate trophy list.
Stellar Blade (PS5)
Hadn't posted about my time playing this yet, but I'm currently on my NG+ run, which I'm doing on Hard mode. I haven't played the game for the past week due to other games (WuWa in particular), but do plan on getting back on the horse and working on finishing it all up soon-ish. All I have left to do is finish two of the endings, which I unfortunately fudged up my first play through and now I might have to do three play throughs total instead of just two, and finishing the game on NG+. I suppose I can just do a third run on Story Mode to get through everything extremely quickly, but man, it does suck knowing that I created like 5-10 more hours of play time for myself (mainly because the ending I fucked up by not taking is the "true" ending that requires max affection with a character, which is done through collecting a bunch of files and doing specific quests, so that means I have to do a near 100% run again for that ending).
As for the game itself, it has been absolutely amazing. Combat is so, so, so good and it's made me really itch for some Lies of P again, which I might have to start up my Steam play through soon, haha.
Bravely Default II (NS)
I've discovered the reason why you level up both your characters and your jobs so fast in this game. Because there are insane difficulty spikes that come out of no where, and because about 25-30% of the way through the game (rough estimate), you start to encounter enemies that do nothing but spam AoE status effects, and can counter attack every single action you do (including if you heal/buff a party member). When playing on Hard mode, it's not uncommon for your entire team to get wiped out before you even have a chance to do anything. I've also discovered that Thief is unbelievably OP in this game. They changed Thief to scale off of speed, and one if their skills that you learn pretty early, which does damage purely based off of speed, can just shred things in no time. It takes a lot of MP to use, so you're limited by that, but my Thief can just dish out a casual 3-5K damage using it with no buffs on her or debuffs on the enemies. That's pretty insane considering that once I get to the point where I have the buffs to set-up first, she's probably going to be hitting damage cap (assuming it's 9999 like it is most of the time, or well above 10K if they have the cap at 99,999 in this one). I look forward to seeing what stupid kinds of teams I can slap together using Thief as the primary damage dealer.

Civilization V
I finally won my game as Greece . It was rather slow going: it took me over 450 turns (usually, I can do it in about 300-350). But I did eventually build a spaceship, to secure a Science Victory .
(Also played a Pictionary game on Discord after that, if that counts )

Genshin Impact
Doing dailies and finished up the events earlier last week of the main event and Windtrace, then the new Boss event although haven't done it on my NA server yet. Not really much.
Dragon's Dogma 2
Stopped playing for a while then played briefly the other day, just advancing the main plot a bit to get the Permit to cross into Battahl, which I had already entered illegally and mostly covered/opened up prior because I was eager to explore.
Wuthering Waves
Yeah I started this as well on the evening of the release however haven't played much yet only a few hours worth, though what I have done I've noticed the combat is fun, especially switching between characters and have them attack in. I've got a lot more learning to do, I haven't reached rank 8 yet to start to Convene or get the free 5*, nor can use the tether ability thing properly yet. My current laptop cannot handle running WuWa but my Xiaomi phone can, which is why I'm back on the search for a gaming laptop in the near future I guess.
Now another game released which I do have but not included here because I've yet to play though will, but I've been busy so not had the chance to properly sit down and play for a long duration, the three above have only been in short bursts.

...what's this fourth game, EL? 👀
KallaX:
Played with a few friends for a little while. It's Overcooked but building IKEA furniture. It's chaotic, it's jank as hell, and it's dumb as heck but that's what makes it great.

...what's this fourth game, EL? 👀
KallaX:
Played with a few friends for a little while. It's Overcooked but building IKEA furniture. It's chaotic, it's jank as hell, and it's dumb as heck but that's what makes it great.

Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door Switch
@ ShiraNoMai Why this of course. I played just a little last night and possibly an hour later before I go to bed tonight. Beat Gus straight away, almost lost because I was silly enough to fall into the water in the port as soon as the game started, only because I tried to to see if I could jump on to the fencing by the side, then took two hits from Gus, but it didn't matter. I just got to Petalburg and that's all really. I noticed you can now flatten pop ups like the grass and bushes to reveal an item or a coin, you used to only shake bushes and hammer trees (that's still in obviously), but nothing for grass.
Genshin Impact
Just dailies as usual, Abyss on my NA and finishing the Boss event on my NA. Couldn't complete the entirety of it on any account because it was obviously designed for whales and my teams are nowhere near that calibre, but did do the Fearless on each just either Gold 1 star or 2 star'd them.
Wuthering Waves
Got to Convene and 10 pulled a few times, got out of them Jianxin who I'm using along with Baizhi and Rover for now, intend to use Danjin too who I do have. At Union Level 15, did the Chapter 1 Act III, other random quests and exploring.

The Sims 4
I finally got back to my game . I've bought the Castle Estate Kit, and started a re-working of my Sims' house, to look more like a castle:
I've only done a little bit so far, so at the moment it looks like a mish-mash of old and new. But, once it's all done, it should look more consistent !
