Yeah, totally. Haven't seen an episode in ages, though... not since the movie came about.

It honestly feels like it would be very tough to go back to this one, but I treasure it as one of the highlights of my childhood (would stay up til 4 AM to watch re-runs on Cartoon Cartoon).

Yeah, I haven't really watched the show since the movie either, mostly because I just don't have the means to watch it currently. I'd love to sit through all the episodes again sometime though.

I actually went back and watched some episodes again (one from every season, just to make sure I wasn't judging unfairly) and... I still loved the hell outta it.

I was NOT expecting that and it was great.

TOO BAD the same thing didn't happen with Fairy OddParents! Everything up to "Channel Chasers" is a blast and then utterly falls apart until not even Vicky is there anymore (how do axe not only 80% of all the damn cast but also the main antagonist, whose presence was declared essential for the plot to exist many times and within the world???!).

I never watched FOP but I heard it did go downhill badly. I know @ShiraNoMai watched it and has told me about how it went bad, so she'd be a better expert at the subject than me here.

Yeah for me, once they started adding in new "regular" cast, i.e. Poof (and beyond) is when that show really tanked hard. Was definitely one of those shows that Nick had to run into the ground because it was still a proven money maker for them (though not nearly ever as much as Spongebob ever did).

Have you ever rewatched (or in general watched) King of the Hill? I feel like that's one of those shows that has aged spectacularly well and does "adult cartoons" justice by not just being some cover for "passive commentary on the current state of affairs of the world".

Yeah, but the somewhat appalling reviews they have gotten have turned me off.

Really? Looking at an overall reception the games seem to review pretty well averaging with 7's and 8's.

I only really trust 2-3 reviewers and they all trashed the series so badly, it makes me not wanna play it.
