Summer is here, the pandemic is still here, but more importantly Summer Meltdown is here!

As is tradition, I'll be hosting a variety of contests and activities for everyone to participate in throughout the duration of the event, focusing on summer and video games! Taking part in the festivities will earn you points which will net you rewards from the participation prize tiers, with the top three participants getting extra bonuses, and whoever does the best this year will also receive a $10 cash prize!

You're also welcome to make and/or suggest your own Summer themed contests and/or activities, which will also be eligible for earning points.

1st Place

Also, at the end of the event, I will reward XP to everyone for the amount of Meltdown Tokens they earn, which will be done with a calculation of "Meltdown Tokens x 15 20 = XP Amount", so for example, 18 tokens would be worth 360XP. I can math I swear... ;n;

XP earn rates are also doubled for the duration of Summer Meltdown 2021, which means posting during the event will get you more XP than usual!

I have just one more thing to point out before I let you go (or leave anyway without reading more, I can't stop you), and that are the couple of rules and regulations in place for this event:

• Any evident signs of cheating or manipulation by any user during this event may result in immediate disqualification and forfeit of any prize you may have been eligible for.
  
• Staff may compete and earn points, but are not eligible for cash prizes. In the event a staff member attains first place, the cash prize shall be delegated down to the first non-staff member in the second or third place position.

I knew there was going to be something I screwed up in that post. Funnily enough that was one of the last things I added into it.

For everyone who participated, you will receive any prize in the list below where you have met the minimum required amount of tokens. If you have 5+ tokens for example, you will receive everything up to and including that tier in the list. I have lowered the tier requirements because I grossly overestimated how many points I actually give out in contests.

Done. Apologies for the delay on it; I was wanting to check that the name colour applied in the areas it's supposed to because last time I gave someone a name colour it didn't work as intended. It'll expire on October 22.
Additionally, don't forget you can ask for a game series of your choice to be represented with a UG card. You might be aware and just trying to decide but thought I'd put a reminder out just in case.

Also I am aware I have not handed out the prizes yet. I'm getting onto that now.

Well, after giving it much thought (a whole 10 minutes) I've decided that, while Digimon would be an obvious choice, I'm gonna go with Megami Tensei (MegaTen, for short). After all, it's a great game series that has been thrown around on the forums, and think of all the charactet portraits! Flynn, Demi-Fiend, Aleph, the new SMT V protag (don't know if he has a canon name, yet), the list goes on for ages, not including Persona and all the other spin-offs!
