I didn't really give this much attention at the time it got announced and completely overlooked that Dr. Mario is one of the games in this. I really enjoyed that game when I played it at GDQ so I might actually check that one out!

I'd be interested in trying out the Tennis and Golf variants. They're bound to be vastly different than the N64 versions, as were all the handheld ports of console games back then.

I was curious when the Game Boy's 35th anniversary is, and it'll be on July 31 for its North American release. Europeans will be celebrating a bit prematurely though because the Game Boy didn't release in that region until over a year later, on September 28, 1990.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team | Coming to GBA NSO Library
In news that seems to be scarce outside of Nintendo's social media pages, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is coming to the GBA NSO Library on August 9:



I don't get why Nintendo haven't bothered to put this trailer on any of their YouTube channels, and no other outlets seem to have bothered to do so either. The trailer above is literally the only one on YouTube for this despite the news breaking yesterday.

I actually saw the announcement over tweeter compared to YouTube myself. For me I actually still own my copy of this game on the GBA and can still play it on my GC GBA player and DS that still works. So, I see no point in upgrading my family plan because I think $70 for it is way too much to pay for games I don't own.

Twitter was the only place I saw Nintendo covering it, and no large outlets even mentioned it. The video I had in my post was the only one even on YouTube by any channel. Nintendo uploaded the video to their channel today and now this news is getting far more traction than it did a week ago.

How is this game anyway since you've played it? I've never really looked into any of the spin-off Pokémon games but the mainline games have never managed to grab me so maybe one of the spin-offs will have a gameplay loop I can get more into.
