Wow, looks like they're having an early Christmas there, or perhaps their time cycled round to it right before the real life day, or just a Sim being cheeky.

Genshin Impact & Wuthering Waves

Just doing dailies, not much special. In Wuwa I tried Tow of Adversity and only managed I think 20 out of 30 Crests (3 Crests the complete a challenge quickly, 2 Crests for slightly slower, 1 Crest for a slower time but low reward,, then 0 Crest for no attempt or an out of set reward time clear. Last reset I believe I got 24 so didn't do as well as I could've, left it to the last day too so gave myself no time to try and build my team more or change teams around.

HOO BOY, last time I played this was in 2018! I'm bouncing around in both games, so I just listed the full title. I still cannot believe that they didn't just copy FFX's awesome combat system for FFX-2, but FFX-2 is still a fun game to play because of how insane it is lol. Getting 100% is an absolute nightmare, though. Seriously, you do one little thing wrong, and BAM! No 100% for you! And it's not even a "collect everything in the game" 100% either; just 100% story completion!

FFX's combat system is so good, though.

My sister and I decided to resurrect our old server that we used to play on - but hadn't really used for about five years. And... it's great to be back Grin !

I spent most of today's session working on my Neuschwanstein build (which I think I showed off here a while ago). The castle itself is basically finished now - but the area around it still looks a mess, so I've been sorting that out a bit. Also, our newest base needs a railway to connect it up with the rest of our network.

Whether this will just end up as a typical "2-week Minecraft phase", or we'll get back into it for the long run, remains to be seen Tongue .

If you and your sister (or anyone else you play Minecraft with) want to play something with a lot of meat on the bones and gives a really good breath of fresh air to Minecraft without changing up the game a ton, I highly recommend looking into Minecraft: Drehmal. Wink

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (PS5)
Played an absolute ton of this since I last posted and this game is one I could easily put onto my Overall GotY contender list. The only thing I have issue with is the music will completely stop playing at random points and doesn't come back until you fully close and restart the game, which sucks mostly because I notice it during boss fights and so I miss out on some really good tracks. Sad

BeamNG.drive (Steam Deck)
Decided to try out my Steam Deck with this game since I wanted to play it but couldn't be bothered to set up a controller and figured it'd be easier to just jump into it with the Deck. Alas, beyond the basic controls I don't know how to do a lot of stuff yet and I might need to adjust some settings because the Deck was having a bit of trouble with the game at points, but I mostly wanted this game to smash up cars and it gives me that. ^_^

Slay the Spire (PC)
I've seen a ton of this game on Twitch but wasn't overly bothered about playing it myself, but Shira and I started sharing our Steam libraries with family sharing and she owns this game so I figured I'd give it a shot since it isn't like it'll cost me anything. It's actually a lot more interesting to play it than watch it, and I've only managed to get halfway into the second act before dying every time but I'm definitely gonna go back in and do some more runs at some point and see if I can do better.

Yeah, ME3 also had multiplayer. IDK about Andromeda, but ME3's was really good. Shame they couldn't bring it back for the Legendary edition.

No idea, tbh. Or, at least, I can't remember what inspired me to go back to it. Just one day, felt like playing some FFX-2, and said "eh, why not both?" Honestly, I'm focusing on FFX right now because hey, combat is good. It's a shame they didn't spruce up FFX-2 like they did with FFX. In fact, FFX-2 is pretty buggy. I've had characters speak voice lines in the wrong places and -- my personal favorite -- randomly speak their Japanese voice lines. There is no option to change the game's VA to Japanese, so IDK how the hell those are even there.

I've also been playing FFX with the new arrangement soundtrack, rather than the original. Aside from Challenge, it's actually pretty good. Challenge they just absolutely ruined in this arrangement; IDK how they got the point of that track so wrong! They added a freaking guitar solo! That is the last thing that song needed! The whole point of it is it's a wall of noise, and they REMOVED THAT to add a guitar solo! It seriously ruins entire feeling of the song. Just compare it to the original; the original is SO GOOD!

Thanks for the recommendation - although, since it's been several years since we last played regularly, we're about 5 or 6 major updates behind Tongue . So, we've got no shortage of 'new' vanilla content to engage with for now - but, once we've done all of that, we can certainly look into Drehmal Smile !

Anyway, the last game I played now was Victoria 3. I'm getting very close to the end of my game now... I haven't achieved a whole lot in this game TBH, but I have survived, at least (which is more than can be said of my previous game)!

octopath traveler/octopath traveler 2!

i've actually completed all the travelers' stories from the first octopath traveler game, jumped into the second one, and i'm at the final chapter for some of the other travelers in that game! i'm thinking of writing a review once i'm done with both games to give my complete thoughts because... both of these games are incredible, to put it succinctly.

oh wow, yeah definitely share your thoughts on that if you're able to, paintbucket! I should really go back and finish the stories first myself. Moony had got through Ophelia's and Thereon's and I think Tressa was in progress? I think all of them were close along in their stories, we were at a point of needing to grind though cuz the next quests were really high level. >.<

Also for @Kyng : https://www.drehmal.net/ Smile

Supermarket Simulator:

Put a bit of work into my store last night cuz I decided I was going to change the front door's position from right aligned (default) to center. Did something odd with my cashiers but I think it worked out. It just gets a little congested with people in the center now lol

Slay The Spire:

On my second attempt, a win was had! Yes it took 20 years and 10 billion cards but, it is done. Tortoise and The Hare adage for Moony and I lol

because i love grinding, i just outleveled the quests by like, a lot LOL. by the time i was doing the lv 45 quests, i was already 65? close to 70? somewhere around there. it's very easy to overlevel with cheese, but octopath is the sort of game that cares more about gear than level for the most part.

Fantasian [Steam]: I'm so deep into this game it's not even funny. So far I've gotten to the point where the villain of the game has split the party up. Big sis seems a bit upset about her momma protecting her little sis and is having issues dealing. I'm sure it has nothing at all to to do with the ancient artifact she's wearing.. No, no she's fine I'm sure. xp I saved and quit just outside an area leading to where some friends await to speak with the girls are. Will head in probably tomorrow.

oh wow, yeah definitely share your thoughts on that if you're able to, paintbucket! I should really go back and finish the stories first myself. Moony had got through Ophelia's and Thereon's and I think Tressa was in progress? I think all of them were close along in their stories, we were at a point of needing to grind though cuz the next quests were really high level. >.<
=

because i love grinding, i just outleveled the quests by like, a lot LOL. by the time i was doing the lv 45 quests, i was already 65? close to 70? somewhere around there. it's very easy to overlevel with cheese, but octopath is the sort of game that cares more about gear than level for the most part.

Yo holy shit that's WILD. I should honestly just do that in games where I don't have the mental energy to do like, battle-planning and plot-puzzle stuff, but can just mindlessly go through turn-based battles on autopilot. But yeah, definitely looking forward to your take on the games as a whole if you get a chance to write something up. ^_^

Slay The Spire:
I played Defect for the first time last night, and nearly won first try. Just needed one more turn on the Deca/Donut Act 3 boss. >.< Gave it 3-4 more tries tonight and have not gotten anywhere close to that first run I had. Insane synergy with that run. I was pretty close on my last attempt tonight but I just didn't have enough HP. I took too many ? routes and got screwed over on HP choices. Sad

Fantasian: Neo Dimension [Steam]: So yea, I figured out what was made clear by one other character already. A DUH. LOL I also have two new party members and I finally made it to the main character's home. I opened up a chest only to have 3 more fall into the room. So more battles ahead and this kid still can't remember jack. <_< I think I might buy some more items before I look inside the other monster ridden chests. >_>
