@Moonface Honestly, I have no idea. XD I've actually gotten closer to getting the 10 rubies I need by using an Alchemy oven turning 6 of the same jewels I had into 3 rubies thus making my total 7 so I have 3 more left to find. I'm just wanting to complete a cooking side quest, once finished I get a black alpaca thread for a book from the character that sells seeds in the game. I suppose I could just not find the 3 rubys I need and move on, but I'm so close dang it. lmao

Everafter Falls: I FINALLY found 10 rubies and 1 extra for the museum. So I bought the fruit tree from the aliens, along with a few other items. I placed the fruit tree in my green house and I'm just burning though the days waiting for it to fruit. All I do is collect the farm stuff I planted in a box and place the others that can sell in the sell box. Once the tree fruits, I can finish the quest I'm on. THANK GAWD. lmao

I was going to comment that if you can duplicate the rubies, there can't be anything major tied to collecting everything since there's multiple ways to do so, but your post after seems to further indicate to me that there isn't anything, considering you didn't get anything for 10 rubies.

Slay The Spire (PC)
OMG I finally beat A20 with a character! I happened to get lucky with a build that allowed me to build up a crazy amount of block (I actually hit 999) which if I was ever low on HP, I could use to tank hits while building up strength so that I could use my Reaper card to heal back to full HP once my strength was high enough. That came in mega useful for the final boss, since it's back to back final boss fights at A20, but my health went down to 8 on the first boss and I wouldn't have made it through without being able to full heal before killing that boss to trigger the second one.

Genshin Impact

Dailies and whatever, also playing through the summer map quest, Hoyo outdid themselves again as it is easily my least favourite of the 5 that there have been. The first three were brilliant, the fourth last year was tolerable but this year, has mostly been boring due to needing to keep transforming into a dancing blob that I'm not keen on, and that the quest and minigames runs on half the patch for some stupid reason, expiring tonight. The second half of the quest gets better at least and gives meaning to the...blobs (they're basically spirits), but doesn't make up for it.

Wuthering Waves

Dailies for rewards and such, playing through Tower of Adversity before it resets tomorrow morning because of NA time. Need to hurry up and do the main quest and the events that unlock after it.

@Moonface Actually what is attached to the 10 rubies is the alien fruit tree. You cannot purchase it with just your monies that you make from selling your goods in game. And YES, there is an extra cut scene inside the bakery shop where the baker hippo finds one of the folks a pig licking the cake icing I made just that day to finish the foods I made earlier & he was surprised by how good it was. Everyone else comes in to get a lick but run off as the baker is just picking on the poor pig for trying out the cake & he says literally everyone else does it too. It was hilarious. So, for me, the fruit and the cut scene was totally worth it. (Everafter Falls)

Pokémon Violet: Shiny hunted for Paldean Wooper, Mudbray, & Drilbur. I also did 2 raids online for the Shiny Ting-Lu. I caught 2 woopers, a mudbray and 1 dilber so far.

Discounty (demo on Switch): I downloaded it and made my character in the creator then headed into the shop I'll be manning. So far, I like the weird story vibe it has otherwise, running the store seems ok. Eh, we'll see if I don't find working at the store annoying is my take.

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (GCN)

No, you did not read that incorrectly. I said GCN. See, I managed to get my mitts on a copy of the collector's edition of Zelda games for the GCN, which has Zelda 1, 2, OoT...and MM, all on one disc. Nice. Anyway, not very far it the game. Just got the Ocarina back. It sucks that you can no longer save freely like in OoT.

Soul Hackers 2 (PC)

Played an hour of it yesterday, and BOY did they put the cringe right up front! The first boss of the game is named "R.S." This stands for "Rhyme Soldier". He raps at you for his dialogue.

Oh, whatever you are imagining, it's more cringe than that. It's impressively terrible. I love it.

Donkey Kong: Bonanza (Switch 2): I've gotten as far as this elephant area & got a new power. So far, I can't seem to figure out how to get to the next part of the area. I might need to watch someone else play through it to see where to go.

Everafter Falls (Steam/pc): I finally was able to get my new electric cow, an albino alpaca & a moonflower seed. Soon I'll get the animal cloner and rock breaker. But I am not completing the museum cause I have no idea where to even find half the giant stuff its listing, I missed. <_<

I got this in late 2019, and during lockdown, it became my main game - but, that's probably why I haven't gone back to it very much since: I don't particularly want to be reminded of lockdown .

Still, I got the urge to start a new game today, playing in Denmark. I haven't got very far in yet - I've just connected Copenhagen to two nearby towns - but I am making money!

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (3DS)

Yeah, after the crash on GCN, I said "fuck that", moved to 3DS. The quality of life improvements they made to the game are very welcome, and I don't give a fuck if people think it makes the game "easier". It's nice to be able to just pick up and play for an hour, and then just walk up to a save point and save, no questions asked. Sorry, it's just the truth. I will agree that making the Song of Double Time allow you to skip to any hour in the day is maybe going too far, but it's significantly better than just sitting there if you need to wait for a specific time. Game's hard enough; get off your dicks.

Hate the new boss mechanics, though. They did Odolwa dirty, making him killable by Deku Link. It was nice being able to just, you know, kill Goht with arrows rather than being forced to chase him down. Haven't finished Great Bay yet, so I can't wait to see how they ruined Gyorg and Twinmold.

Edit: in the hour since posting this, I have beaten Gyorg. Uh, fuck this fight. Fuck it with a rusty sword sideways. Gyorg was pretty easy IIRC in the original because you can just swim around as Zora Link, ramming into him. Not here! You aren't invincible anymore when using your magic, so you have to fight him in two stages, and the second stage is bullshit! It requires corraling him into a placement where he's not too far away from you, when you have no control over his movement other than he will swim away from you. Fuck this fight.

After 12 years I have finally started playing GTA V, mostly because my cousins wanted me to try online with them. Online is just stupid fun, but the main story is good so far. I try to limit myself to a few missions per day because it almost plays like a TV show lol. I like that all of the side content so far seems optional. I'd hate to feel pressured to do the races or cargo drops instead of just playing the main game.

Anyone who is unironically saying that QoL updates in the 3DS ports of those games ruin them are being stupid. It's the same people who cry that the upgraded sail in Wind Waker HD that lets you traverse the ocean much faster ruin that game. QoL doesn't make games easier, just more convenient, and that's never really a bad thing. Like I played OG Wind Waker, 100% completion, sailed every inch of every square of the map collecting everything that there was to fish out of the ocean and I would never want to do it again at the speed of the original game again. 

Like, I love Majora's Mask, tied for my favorite LoZ game with A Link to the Past, and I still adored the QoL stuff the 3DS Remake got. I thought they were great changes to the game for the most part.

Last game I played was Nioh Remastered on PS5. Finished up making my end-game build and now I just need to romp through everything on the third difficulty to finish up the trophies. Honestly never thought I'd 100% Nioh a second time, but here I am. We'll ignore that I have the game on Steam to 100% a third time for now though.

Eh? You mean restarted playing it right, because I know we definitely played GTA Online together back when the game was still on PS3.


Slay The Spire (PC)
I finally won my first heart run! I decided to use Silent for it because I felt the most confident with her first, although it still took me a few times to put together a winning deck. The hardest part is just not taking every good card I see because it doesn't mean much if you have to spend 5+ turns waiting for cards that buff others to show up in your hand, which is what kept happening to me with a 50+ deck.

Oh, how naïve I was, thinking Gyorg's fight sucked. Wow, what they did to Twinmold. I will give it this: it is a far more cinematic fight. I will also give it this: it is a far more annoying fight! I won't go into the full stages here, but it took me a good 15 minutes to finish this fight, because Jesus Christ, the hit detection as Giant Link is fucked! It would have been fine if you could just arrow him, like in the original, but you can't! Holy fuck, did that fight suck!
