Yeah there was so much that took a toll, I literally can't imagine myself in her shoes or any content creators, trying to constantly have new things coming out like a machine just to get by. Really wish this wasn't the reality she chose to do it.

A key difference in the content she made versus others is she took a hobby and turned it into her source of income, except that the growth and subsequent survival of her hobby requires it to generate more income and without it there isn't enough money to pay all the bills. Compare that to say, the multitudes of gaming streams on Twitch where the income doesn't necessarily need to keep going up for that streamer to keep doing what they're doing, because that doesn't expand in a way where the bills expand along with it, it just needs to reach a comfortable number and remain steady. This instance is more like the worst way "number must go up" could play out, because if it doesn't you now lack funds for the extra animals you've added to your care and they likely came into your care in the first place because nowhere else was doing it.

Today, July 22, Ozzy Osbourne was reported to have died. For real, this time. He passed while surrounded by family. Ozzy Osbourne is a name that shouldn't require introduction, but he was a pioneer of heavy metal with the band Black Sabbath, and has many enduring classic songs. He was also known for his larger than life antics that made him all the more legendary, becoming "The Prince of Darkness". I don't think it needs to be said that he will be missed.

Holy fuck I just saw this after waking up from a nap because I'm not well right now; what a thing to wake up to. It oddly doesn't surprise me much though when thinking of how he was during that last live performance of his. I got the impression he was doing that thing people in their last moments do where they get this second wind and do things they weren't capable of due to age beforehand.

Hulk Hogan Has Passed Away at 71

Medics were dispatched to the WWE icon's Clearwater, Florida home early Thursday morning ... with operators stating it was regarding a "cardiac arrest."

He could've had a few more years left, but these things happen, get taken a bit too early from a sudden heart problem. Damn, RIP Hulkster.

I imagine all the steroids he did played a notable role in it. Triple H currently has a pacemaker and that was also because his heart experienced trouble from steroid use/abuse.

It'll be interesting to see what WWE does on their programming for Hogan though; the last time he made an appearance he got heavily booed out of the building simply because of how he is as a person.

Yeah it could've been from that. Completely forgot Smackdown has happened since his passing and only just saw the tribute to him. He may have been controversial or whatever outside of wrestling, but luckily his legacy as the wrestler Hulk Hogan will be what everyone will remember him by. Was a shame he was booed back then, but there was well deserved cheers and respect in that tribute.

Yeah the tribute was done well and kept the focus on what he did for the business. Vince McMahon will be a tougher sell, and I wonder how WWE will handle that when the time comes given they won't make any reference to him, even in Hogan's tribute video.

On the note of Hogan, apparently his death was by heart attack, which doesn't surprise me given the steroid use.

I don't normally like thinking "good riddance" when someone dies, but I saw yesterday that Ian Watkins, the lead singer of Lostprophets, was killed via stabbing to the neck in prison. He was convicted back in 2013 for child sex offences (if you dare to seek the exact details of what he did, I warn you it is very disturbing and the judge who convicted him even said it was the worst case they had ever seen), and was actually attacked back in 2023 but didn't receive life threatening injuries at the time: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cm2d2me0eljo
I'm mostly just sharing it because last time a convicted child sex offender passed away that was a notable public figure I knew of (Rolph Harris) I was completely unaware of it, so just wanted to share this news for anyone who like me might be "Oh yeah, that guy" if you knew of Watkins' conviction already.

To not give all the attention to that scumbag, Diane Keaton also passed away yesterday at the age of 79. I looked at her filmography and I couldn't recognize a single thing I've seen and the majority of it I'd never heard of, so I can't say I have any opinion on her as an actor and such.

Yeah, especially since apparently he was still trying to continue while in prison via contact with people outside who were somehow still fans of him or were involved in the stuff that got him convicted in the first place.

Given that Ted Bundy -- one of the most notorious serial killers in history -- had fangirls, I'm not surprised Ian Watkins still had fans. It doesn't matter how horrible your crimes are; if you're hot, people will forget anything.

On one hand, no one deserves to go out like that. On the other, he's scum of the earth and if he was actively still trying to form relationships with minors, that shows that he was never going to rehabilitate. So, fuck him.

Diane Keaton feels like a familiar name, but damned if I can remember anything she's been in. Shame that she had to die so close to Watkins; she doesn't deserve the association.

If Diane Keaton sounds familiar to you, but you can't quite place it, it's probably because of her role as Kay Adams in the absolutely legendary The Godfather Trilogy of movies. 90s kids might also know her for her role of Nina Banks in Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride Part 2 (probably a lot of 90s kids first exposure to Steve Martin as well). They apparently made a Part 3 that released in 2020, but I never heard anything about it so I'm assuming it was as trash as every other sequel to 20-30 year old movies they attempted to cash in on the last 5-10 years.

But yeah, if anything, most people know her from her roles in The Godfather movies. One of the most legendary movie trilogies in existence.

I'm just glad I didn't try or get into Lostprophets so their music with Watkins in hasn't been ruined for me, but know to just avoid it.

Don't think I've seen anything with Diane Keaton in either but still a RIP for her. I should've watched The Godfather ages ago but still haven't at least not properly.
