I forget what was on the shirt, but I wore a pink shirt when I went to see the Barbie movie and was fine with it. That said, the movie theatre was at a mall and I did notice I got a lot more looks so I'd say if that sort of attention can be a little unsettling (even though nobody looked in a way that was negative/positive, more just that sort of curious glance that lasts a second longer than perhaps usual) to keep that in mind.

Fun fact, pink used to be a boys color because it was considered a strong color whereas blue was viewed as a more fitting for girls due to being softer. At some point (apparently in the 1940s) that swapped around for some reason.

Yeah, although I need to get more responsible first before I can be trusted with one. I barely take care of myself properly half the time so that doesn't bode well for a kid.

I know no Naruto characters have crossed my mind for kid names, and I doubt they have for Shira's either.
The only name I've ever thought of and liked the sound of is Chloe, but that's about it. Not to say I wouldn't pick something else, I just haven't had another name come into my head where I was like "ooh, yes". XD

For what I did, it started with going to work, then coming home where the rest of my day will mostly be consumed by homework because of being in my last semester and taking part in Senior Seminar as part of it, which involves me and the rest of the class (which is 17 total including myself) have to organize an exhibition for our portfolio's which is gonna be taking place on December 4. At this point I'm refining and finalizing my ten pieces to present them in class on Tuesday, and then they have to be submitted for printing on Thursday. After that I just have to get everything together to assemble my space in the exhibition which shouldn't be too bad?

So far I got a few things from Shira that she got from the PlayStation Gear store (which I learned is shutting down at the end of the year), which included an Uncharted cap, an Astro Bot notebook, a PlayStation themed t-shirt and a PlayStation themed shirt. I told her if she got anything that requires my time (such as a game, Lego set, etc.) to save that for Christmas because there's no chance I'm gonna be able to do anything with that sort of stuff right now.

Got off from work, only time I could send this now. So yup Karo beat me to it so, Happy Birthday Moony!!

Bleach is the same, can't say a name of a character has crossed my mind as "ooh I'd use that".

But I am a bit suspicious that you didn't steal it from Uncharted  For something like anime characters name I kinda feel like they'd stick out, but it'd be kinda fun, but I don't think your kid would appreciate it during school.Though I guess you could argue would they know what Naruto is?  

That sound like a lot of fun Moony I hope you really enjoy it I know I always enjoyed seeing everyone pieces and what they came up with. :3 I feel like it definitely was the perfect time to get playstation gear just before it closed! Now that you got the playstation T-shirts and shirts will you be buying the Nintendo brand shirts and we can't forget the xbox or what about the PC or the steamdeck shirts? Only a fake gamer would stop at the playstation when they can collect all the consoles in shirt form! 

Have there been any games your looking forward to playing during the Christmas break?

I mean, there's a chance that I thought of the name because of Uncharted but my reasoning for picking the name isn't because "Oh I named my kid after this game character" and more "I named my kid this because I heard this name and liked it".

Well that's why you pick a character from Boruto instead so you use a modern reference for a name which gives you rizz points with the kids.

Technically I have Nintendo shirts if we're counting any of their IP being present on the shirt and not just the logo. Now it makes me curious if I own more shirts featuring PlayStation games or Nintendo games?

Well, Christmas break for me would be more like a permanent break since I won't be going back to school in the new year (graduate and whatnot), but I'd like to actually set up my Switch 2 and play Mario Kart World finally since I've had the thing sitting in the box since buying it on launch day.

It really weird to think that there are people that are growing up with Boruto today and it kinda like must of been what people felt when the prequel came out, but of course the prequel were obviously far superior to the original trilogy like who can forget the unforgettable line of I don't like sand or the trade federation those were some of the most beloved and well regarded scene in all of the Star War history Blinded by nostalgia they are..
I'm sure once they read/watch the original Naruto they'll obviously see the that Naruto was better instead of unironically loving Boruto way more than Naruto.

I really hope you can find something you love doing!!!!!!  I don't think I have heard many good things about Mario Kart World, but you'll have to tell me how you feel about it when you finally get time to play it! I honestly still feel very iffy about getting the Nintendo Switch 2 I kinda feel like $80 games are kinda out of my price range even when I do have a job.

Chloe is also good so you can annoy your kid by easily mispronouncing it with the silent h actually with the C. Nah I agree that Chloe is pretty good name, without being associated with a known character.

Thinking of anime characters it's probably better to name a pet after a character, so for an orange cat could be Ichigo. I know you have Mars already named, but just in general. If I got a new cat with my mum and sister I likely couldn't though, unless I was the sole responsibility for the cat. Ha...

No if asking in the context of a name for my kid only because it doesn't really flow well with my last name. Nate Brown sounds bleh.  The gigachad move is to name my kid after Light Yagami from Death Note actually, so then I can call them Light Brown.

It took me reading this whole thing to realize you were referring to the Star Wars prequels and I thought you were calling Naruto a prequel. XD
Outside of the execution I'll give the Star Wars prequels credit in that they actually had a compelling story figured and laid out for a trilogy, unlike Episodes 7-9 which might be one of the biggest fumbles of an established big movie IP ever.

Best I can do for now is having shirts that feature Xbox characters alongside ones from other consoles, which is mostly any of my GDQ shirts. Unless we want to count my Crash Bandicoot and Spyro shirts as Xbox since they own those IP's through Activision now.

In fairness on the $80 thing, I think MKW is the only one to actually have that price. DK Bananza, Legends Z-A and Prime 4 are all $70. If the next mainline 3D Mario game isn't $80 then Nintendo either ditched the idea or they priced MKW at $80 just to try and encourage people to buy the bundle.
I've not heard great things about MKW either though, at least when comparing it to MK8D. The biggest thing I've seen against it is the races feel like a slot machine where skill plays no factor into how well you do, which is heavily proven by how sandbagging has become the best strategy in online play because being at the back of the pack means getting really good items that you just need to hold onto until the end of the race and you're likely to end up in the top three if not in first place. If like me you probably won't play online very much if at all though, then those issues might not be as prominent but I'll have no clue until I play the game as most discussion I see about MKW's gameplay is in the context of online play.

Thank you! Besides busyness (which hopefully will calm down once I graduate as I won't be juggling classes, work, and homework) the other thing that for me was keeping the idea of kids on a backburner was money. My current job is only part-time because of classes, and even then most of the money I get from that was being used to pay for my classes so I didn't need to take out a loan and get into debt, so a single full-time income with a kid added into the equation feels to me like walking on very thin ice. I'd rather wait to have a kid if it means they or us don't have to struggle.

Eh, I can't say I dislike where I live in Florida at the moment but if we needed to move somewhere else because of work I wouldn't be against it. Not that where we live now is lacking for graphic design positions, but for example Shira recently tried applying for a job at Nintendo as a designer which would've been a huge opportunity had she got it and would be the type of job to justify moving for it.

Yeah I'd agree, pets are better suited to more crazy names since it isn't like they're gonna feel bad about the name or get bullied for it by other pets. Although as I write that it does feel a bit wrong to be all "Ah I can call this animal whatever because it doesn't know better".
