As expected, a really really good conference from Microsoft. While not every game interests me, I did love everything shown, and the biggest shocker moment easily goes to Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077.
I really need to pick up Ori and the Blind Forest in preparation for Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
A funny moment while watching this briefing was when Flight Simulator began its trailer, Shira said it was going to be a car game and I joked that because we were currently in the sky that it was going to be a plane game, then when the cities appeared that we were still in the air so we're still flying, and then planes ended up actually appearing!
If the Lego Star Wars game features environments fully made of Lego like they are in the trailer, I might actually consider the game. I've never wanted to buy a Lego game because of the environments not being made of Lego.
Speaking of Lego, love that Forza Horizon 4 expansion. The Lego guy looking back out of the window is the Forza version of Mario Kart's Luigi stare.
xCloud was such an obvious middle finger to Stadia, and I think it just made a very solid attempt of putting the nail in the coffin for Stadia. There's now no incentive to use Stadia for streaming games unless you aren't going to buy an Xbox, and even then I think the chances have just reduced dramatically.
Halo didn't feel like it was visually using Project Scarlett. Cyberpunk's trailer looked far better and I expected Halo to be on par to that. The character model of the guy in the trailer just wasn't as impressive as I was expecting it to be for a Project Scarlett game.

That feeling when SEGA finally gets off their asses and localizes Phantasy Star Online 2 after a millennium, only to completely ruin the announcement by making it Xbox One console exclusive in the West.
They'll still get the PC crowd for it, but it's hilarious that they think the game will have any chance of succeeding on the fucking Xbox One in the west. 99.99% of console players who even know/care what PSO2 is are going to be on PS4.
Very, very stupid move by SEGA.

So, Microsoft also has a few blog posts tied to E3, and this is one of them, announcing they are done adding games to their backwards compatibility program (*sounds of defenestrations can be heard*). Initially, I thought nothing of it...until I saw one of the "fan favorites" they have on the list. Can you spot it?
WHAT IS THAT?! WHAT THE FLYING F*** IS THAT?! TOO HUMAN?!
For those of you that don't know the story, Too Human is a game that had a massive controversy surrounding it, thanks to its developer suing Epic Games over the Unreal Engine. It later turned out that the game, which they claimed was using their own in-house engine, infringed on Epic's copyright by using LOTS OF CODE from the Unreal Engine. This meant that Silicon Knights had to destroy all copies unsold, and remove it from any and all storefronts. And yet, Microsoft explicitly says: "As a final thank you to the community, we are bringing Too Human to the Backward Compatibility catalog and are making it available digitally to everyone for free." (emphasis mine)
How?! HOW?! How are you legally allowed to do this?! Did Epic give you permission to do so? Why would they; the game was TRASH! Why would they ever want to let that game see the light of day 5 years after it was removed from sale?! WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

I expect that because the game isn't being sold, that Epic saw no reason to restrict it being available for free. Even if any money is being exchanged between Epic and Microsoft, it isn't going to the people who were the problem with this game in the first place, and Epic probably aren't going to care to kick up a stink about the game so long as it isn't making any money for the people who made it.
Regardless of how bad the game is, it's good to see that it isn't going to be lost to history by making it available. It'd be interesting to see what a larger response to the game is now that it isn't limited to however many copies survived.
