Halloween Birthday Bash 2019

Universal Gaming is now 13 years old and has officially begun its teenage years! From here on out the board will be having phases, mood swings, and starting to rebel against its parents. But first we need to celebrate this milestone in the only way we know how, and that's with our annual Halloween Birthday Bash!

We'll be running a variety of contests and activities until the end of the month for everyone to participate in, focusing on Halloween and video-games! Taking part in the festivities will earn you points that can be cashed in at the end of the event to get yourself some spooky prizes, so even if you're not lucky enough to win you still have a chance to get something! You're also welcome to make and/or suggest your own Halloween/anniversary themed contests and/or activities, which will also be eligible for earning points.

All of our Halloween Birthday Bash 2019 activities will be hosted in the Contests & Events forum. We also have some rules and regulations in place:

• You must have at least 25 posts to redeem anything from the prize pool. Spamming to hit this requirement will result in disqualification and forfeit of receiving any prizes.
  
• Any evident signs of cheating or manipulation by any user during this event may result in immediate disqualification and forfeit of any prize you may have been eligible for.
  
• Staff may compete and earn points, but may not be eligible for prize pool items.
  

To further get everyone in the spirit of Halloween, I've put together an alternative version of our UniV3rse Redux theme called Haunted UniV3rse, featuring a complete colour swap, spooky details, and a brand new set of rotating banner images! I hope you all enjoy it. There are still some things to work on for it, but I didn't want to hold it back any longer.

Given that you've done such an excellent job on the theme... I almost hate to say that I've found an issue with it. The "Quick Edit/Full Edit" pop-up menu hasn't been coloured in.

(Still, the fact that it took this long to find this issue suggests that it's not exactly a serious problem !!!)

Our Halloween theme will remain up until this weekend. After then, it will be removed from the theme selector. However, I intend to provide access to the theme via the Marketplace in exchange for XP for anyone who wants to use it any time of the year.

In regards to your card, UG Cards need to be based on a game series, rather than a singular character. I can still make you a Galarian Rapidash card for you to put in your signature or whatever, but in relation to the card collection it has to be based on a series.

For the Steam Link, if you can PM me the address you want it shipped to I can do that for you.

Your colour is set and will expire after December 14th.

In the event anyone forgets, placement in the top three still entitles you to cashing in points from the participation pool.

Yeah, I forgot that it's stated in the Marketplace thread and that not everyone has necessarily read that or remembers it if they have, hence why I still want to make your Galarian card because I feel bad not letting you get it when I overlooked mentioning that in here. XD

I should get the cards done next week when all my current homework projects are out of my hair.
