I didn't get to catch a lot of the Direct but F-Zero 99 looks hilarious and I love the idea of it even if I probably won't play it myself, but TTYD getting a remaster is definitely the best announcement from the whole Direct for me! Super excited for that!

[Dragon Lord]

Unicorn Overlord is probably my #1 from this. You can never go wrong with a beautiful Vanillaware game. As the cool kids like to say, "they don't miss!"

New SMRPG Remake trailer was nice. Seeing a lot of things remain true to the original really puts a lot of doubts to rest about the remake. The only thing I don't really like seeing is the AoE on timed hits. While SMRPG is one of my favorite games of all-time, it's also one of easiest games you'll find out there. I fear the new AoE effect and the triple attack is just going to make a brain dead easy game even easier, and that's not exactly a great thing in this case.

I do like seeing the boss re-rights in the "post game," it's cool to know they are adding a post-game at all, even if it does just end up being re-fights and nothing else. Looks like they could be a challenge considering they do more damage than you usually have HP even at max level (which tells me that perfect timing blocks on their attacks is required for survival).

I was bored for the majority of this Direct except from the MK8 Booster Course with what it's adding and then there's the end. Just the end got me, I actually got emotional. I'm passing on SMRPG Remake now but I for sure as heck going to get Switch PMTTYD.
