I'd only get a steam deck if I can get one hands on to try like a demo or something. I just don't want to end up hating it like I did the Switch lite is all.

Last games I bought were Dragon Quest III: 2D HD Remaster via Steam & Bloomtown.
----I asked my husband to get me Metaphor: ReFantazio for the PS5 instead. :3

I definitely second this opinion. I also wasn't sure about the idea of one until I held one in my hands. It is definitely bulkier/heavier than any of the Switch models, but it does fit nicer/more comfortably? The grip feel of the Switch isn't the most natural, so hands can wind up cramping (at least for me, with my stupid thumb arthritis) and I think the Steam Deck definitely has the form factor down to not pinch the nerves there for me.

I think places like Best Buy or maybe even a GameStop will have some on display if you can't find someone you know let you borrow/try it out.

Yea, I'll definitely see where I can try a Steam Deck out at. Probably Best Buy since it's closer. :3

Recent Steam Fall purchases: Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Europa, Luma Island, RPG Maker MZ, Beyond Deep, & the Half Life series when it went on sale last month.

Humble Bundle choice picks I grabbed (From November):
Garden Life: A cozy simulator (reminded me of the 3DS game where you would pass someone who would give you a plant and you could turn it into a seed or cross pollinate with it.).
Book Walker (I liked the way it seemed to play.)

Bought them both for myself when I saw their stock levels were low, Art of Octopath was in the Black Friday sales...week or however long it was on Amazon and was among presents I was getting for others. I was considering making it a joint present for people to get me but eh, just too much hassle trying to get everyone on board with it, they just have to get something separately for me usually.

Picked up the Binding of Isaac: Rebirth DLCs I was missing since they were on sale. Used to be obsessed with the original, looking forward to playing again <3

A lot of people have been calling it a 'Stardew Valley' clone, when they do dnd nights in the game & Stardew doesn't even have that. XD But so far, I think it's cute. Yes, the 90's Sailor Moon anime style is sort of why I got it that and the sale price of $8 kind of helped. XD When I start my file I'll make a thread about it. :3 

Last game I got was Deliverance Kingdom Come on Epic since it was free. Today's free Epic game was 'Hell Let Loose".

so gaming headphones count? if they do... i've gotten my hands on some pretty cool ones just yesterday! got tired of my old headset which is more than a couple of years old at this point and started shopping for new ones.

i wanted gaming headsets with anc, and i know that the two often don't really go together, and if they even do, they would be headsets that would cost a pretty penny. and of course, i wasn't wrong on that part. the artis nova pro are pricey headsets... which is why i've got them on sale on my local best buy for $285, minus the $100 i've received as a gift at christmas. so all in all, with taxes included, i ended up paying ~$200 for $350 headsets. gotta say, not a bad deal at all.

i've also wanted it in white since my gaming setup is a lot of white so it matches the aesthetic lmao

The multiplayer that was recently added is also very interesting, although I haven't played much of that mode.

If the purchase is gaming related it fits here, including items like headsets/headphones if they're primarily for gaming use.

Just bought Suikoden 1 + 2 HD Remaster on steam. So far, I'm really enjoying the updated gfx for the sprites. Though my husband thinks Vicktor looks too young and I think Matthew looks a bit too old. lol
