Hori PS5 Fighting Commander OCTA Controller

Yeah I felt like I needed a new controller, and yes it's mainly for Tekken 8 as I felt the Dual Sense isn't as good as DS4 but I still would've wanted to try this anyway. I saw this Hori controller floating about in places so decided to look it up, does look slightly weird having an R1 and R2 next to Triangle and Circle, similar to how an arcade stick would be with 6 buttons and still has an R1 and R2 shoulder buttons as well (possibly named something else or the same). My controller hopefully arrives on the 30th next Sunday which would be good to test out for CNT but if not it has a PS4/PC setting on the back to play on those as well, so I can try it on Tekken 7 too.

I'm surprised T8 can't support DS4 controllers, since it isn't like the game is using any of the features the DualSense has. I might be wrong but I'm sure there are PS5 games that can use a DS4, but those might be games that are cross-gen or just PS4 games being run on a PS5.

Hori makes some great third-party controllers. I imagine you'll have a good time with it provided you can get used to the 6-face button layout

Grabbed a copy from GameStop on my way home from class since this was my planned birthday gift for @ShiraNoMai. I think one of the people behind the counter was a manager because holy heck they were going hard on trying to get people to pay for extra stuff like game protection and Pro membership. I opted for none of it and got told I'm a brave man for not wanting protection on my purchase as if Switch games just have a tendency of breaking.

No, I didn't need yet another keyboard. Yes, I only bought it because it's normally priced at $110 and it's on sale for $30. My curiosity to see what it was like got the better of me for such a low price. KEKW

At least it has blue switches so it'll be super clicky and will satisfy my ears while I type on it.

Tekken 8 - Launch Edition (PS5)

Nyeh, got my order in. Was considering Ultimate Edition and Premium because why get the statue that doesn't light up, but then yeah the Ultimate gets the 1 Year Character Pass, but I assume you can get that as a bundle separately (the 4 characters), and that won't cost £40 surely (£60 for Launch £100 for Ultimate). If they dare to make us pay for them individually then I won't buy them, I don't care for the rest of the Ultimate. Premium did have some neat stuff with the Character Cards and statue but...it'll just be another large box in my room.
