The newest game from Arkane Lyon has been revealed. Deathloop transports players to the lawless island of Blackreef in an eternal struggle between two extraordinary assassins. Hunt down targets all over the island in an effort to put an end to the cycle once and for all, and remember, if at first you don’t succeed… die, die again.

Orion | Presentation Video
Developed specifically for game streaming, Orion is Bethesda's new game engine based technology that optimises game engines for a cloud environment to improve player experiences on streaming services such as Stadia or xCloud. It will work with any game engine, and will stream content up to twenty percent faster per frame, leading to a dramatic reduction in latency, and a reduction of bandwidth usage by up to forty percent. As an example of how efficient Orion can work for streaming, Bethesda showed Doom 2016 being streamed to a mobile phone with no latency issues or a decrease in quality.

Doom Eternal | Official Thread
Closing out the show was Bethesda's biggest next upcoming release, Doom Eternal, with a story trailer, new gameplay footage, and the reveal of the new 2v1 multiplayer mode, Battlemode! Head over to our official thread for the game for more information and discussions!

I was very surprised to see Bethesda address Fallout 76, and in a way that might actually see the beginning of the game turning around into something people wanted it to be. It's a little silly to have NPC's and quests as a bragging point in any game, and especially so for a game that those things are supposed to be staple elements of, but it needed to be done. The free trial was definitely a good move in trying to get people to come back, and to encourage people to try the game who didn't want to touch it with a ten foot irradiated pole at release.

GhostWire looks really interesting; I just want to see gameplay of it now.

Deathloop is going to be neat just because it's an Arkane game. I just want to see how neat it's going to be, and how that rivalry mechanic works out in-game.

Orion will be a good thing to see implemented into streaming services. I doubt it'll do much to help Stadia's obstacles it needs to overcome, but for xCloud that'll be a great addition to ensure that it works as flawlessly as possible.

Doom Eternal was nothing short of spectacular. I don't really care for the multiplayer mode, but no one is buying Doom for anything other than a campaign of glorious killing and power trips! Tongue
